Running her fingers through her matted, dirty blonde hair, Lixa wandered aimlessly around the dungeons. The eerie glow given off by the dimly lit torchlight was by now something of remarkable comfort to Allixa. Although daunting at first, she found the dim light more easy on the eyes. Not that it mattered much to her.

As she entered a rather familiar corridor, she began to comb out the knots in her hair using her short, roughly kept nails. She kept them short for her own personal reasons. Reasons she would rather not explain. The same applied for the occasional sharp edge her nails had; the way they grew at an alarming rate depending on the time of the year, and the way her hair changed hue accordingly too.

For these same reasons she kept to herself, remaining outside the common room as much as possible. Consequently, she would often be caught out late at night, wandering the forest or the grounds with no specific purpose. She was never docked house points for it, but she seemed that it would be unfair on the other students: on her first year she had expected to have lost at least 100 house points for Slytherin, yet any points prefects has taken off her were mysteriously redeemed the next morning.

In fact, she had been in the common room just now. She had only been through to get changed into some of her more comfortable clothes. Not that she really minded. The Slytherin Common room was almost deserted in the late afternoon; only a few students who were not Quidditch training, eating an early dinner or doing some much needed homework.

Leaving her thoughts aside, she continued to meander through the dungeons, not caring where she was going. She merely wanted to walk; make the most of her energy whilst she knew she still had it.
