Mari had forzen in the doorway of the teacher's lounge as she heard the sobbing of the woman in front of her. She paused only seconds before crossing to gently take the quill from her, reading the letter and speaking softly. "I miss you too." She whispered, tears bright in her eyes.
Her eyes, a dark brown were cloudy and she moved back when the woman didn't respond, her tucked her dark brown hair out of her eyes and waited, praying she wasn't wrong. She wore a simple black suit under her robes, seeming stunned when Cait rose and all but jumped at her, slim arams wrapping around her waist as they used to do. She took a deep breath then, feeling her self-strength crumple.
"Cait..." She breathed softly, hugging the woman close, relaxing into the woman's embrace, kissing her softly on the cheek. "Cait... my Cait." She had her girl back, her girl who she'd needed.
She missed her so much and now, now she was there. She took another deep breath, her tears finally falling. "I'm so sorry..." They were done, they were home.
