After finishing her book, Bridgett decided to go for a walk in the castle. At first she didn't know where to go, but once she realized she wanted to go somewhere quiet. She decided to go to the towers. It was there or the library...she was tired of studying; the towers sounded a lot better.
Carefully she walked up the steep tower stairs; hoping not to trip. With each step it got colder. Thankfully Bridgett was prepared. She put on her black and pink hoodie that she had been carrying in her hands over her pink shirt that she had changed into earlier that night. Along with her pink shirt, she was wearing a black skirt with pink and black stripped leggings under it.
Once she got to the top, she walked over to the nearest window. She looked out to see beautiful yellow stars shining back at her. Smiling she closed her eyes and made a wish. "Let this year be a good one.'
Opening her eyes, she continued to stare at the stars and think. Today had been good, but it was obvious that Dylan and Cat now knew that she was keeping a secret. But, it was also obvious that they both had some of their own. Hopefully though, no one would find each others out.
Still, Bridgett hoped that she would become friends with Dylan and Cat. Even though they had been fighting the whole time, they seemed like nice people. Everyone had flaws and Bridgett definately needed some new friends.

Lost in her thoughts, Bridgett was shocked to hear Dylan behind her. She didn't hear him walk up the stairs at all. She jumped a bit and then turned around and smiled at his apology, "That's okay. You didn't give me the wrong impression at all; you seem like a very nice person. I just think that some buttons were pushed earlier today and you and Cat both had the right to be defensive." she paused, "I'm used to randoms bouts of anger. I don't take offense to them much anymore."
She glanced back out the window and then looked back at Dylan, "After all, I wasn't acting like myself either."
It was true, her personality had changed a lot over the last few months. She didn't like that it did, but she was having a hard time finding her old self. Who knew, in time, her old self might just randomly come back. She was looking forward to the time it would. If it didn't, she just wished that she could find a happy medium.
Switching topics, she said "So, what brings you up here? I myself needed somewhere to think and I also love watching the stars."
She looked back at the stars and motioned for Dylan to join her, "It truly is a beautiful night." she said with a large smile.

Dylan walked closer to her and instead of looking up at the sky, he looked down at the grounds. He could see Hagrid walking across the grounds with a lantern floating along side of him. To his left, he could see the lake and what he thought was a giant arm floating out and quickly dipping back inside the lake.
"Oh I'm glad," he said without looking at her. "I'm," he paused for a moment, "I." He couldn't find the words. They seemed to be floating around his head somewhere, but they were blocked by an imaginary field of nothingness. "Well Cat an I, yeah I don't really know how to explain it. We aren't friends. We kind of were, but then we weren't for really no reason at all. I guess I was rude to her or something," he finished with a hint of regret in his voice.
"So," he said changing the subject, "I'm up here because I wanted to be alone. I just felt like walking. Then I found you up here." He looked directly into her eyes before looking away quickly. "What are you doing up here?"

"Oh you're welcome," he said to her as she thanked him for the jacket. "I used to know this warming charm. My grandmother taught it to me. She said it'd come in handy, but alas, I've forgotten it. She was right you know. She usually thinks she is anyway."
After a few moments, Dylan heard her demand that he wish upon a star. He looked at her incredulously. He hadn't wished upon a star since he was a little boy. He would have objected, however he felt as though objecting would have been a bad idea.
"Well, I think I will," he said as he looked out at the star. He whispered on, "I wish I may, I wish I might on this star I see tonight," and then he went silent. He wasn't sure if he was suposed to say his wish in front of her, but wishes were personal things. Once he finished wishing, he said, "I wished for world peace and happy little puppy dogs and flowers."
He smirked at her and then asked, "What did you wish for?"

Bridgett smiled, "I forgot there was such a charm. It seems like there are charms for everything." she said and thought with a frown, 'If it wasn't for charms and magic, I would be back at Beauxbatons.' she forced a smile, "If I do remember it though, I shall tell you it."
After hearing Dylan's wish, she rolled her eyes and then burst out laughing, "I think you just read my mind. I guess I have to think of another one." she paused, "I know, I wish I can make some more friends."
"That or become a rich and famous fashion designer." She smiled, "Still, I think I will go with having more friends. I really do like hanging out with people." She recalled one of Dylan's statements from the afternoon. "After a while books can get rather boring, they really don't hold a good conversation." she said with yet another laugh.
She couldn't believe she was having such a good time. She was starting to think that she would be her old self in no time. That was if she didn't mess anything up in the mean time.
