The four founders of Hogwarts, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Gryffindor, each held many secrets and lies, but none as big as the one that you are about to discover:

Many years ago, when Hogwarts was at a new beginning and the founders were all good friends, one of the four, Salazar Slytherin, drifted away from the rest and decided that he would build a secret chamber inside the castle that only him and his heirs could open. In this chamber, as many know, was a dreadful monster capable of things that I would prefer not to speak of.

After the chamber had been opened the third and final time, many forgot about it…but what if there were still secrets that were hid within that chamber? And three other even MORE well hidden chambers around the castle.

It is exactly 1000 years after the last of the four founders passed away, and this marks the time which all four chambers will once again open of their own accord. But it will not be monsters that will be unleashed upon the castle.

Each chamber holds three ancient artefacts that are all cursed in a different way, that means, twelve artefacts in total.

When the chambers open, the items will be transported around the castle, leaving innocent hands to find them and become victims to their great power.

What are the effects of these dangerous artefacts? I hear you ask. Nothing…that is if you are in the house of the creator of the artefact that you lay your hands on.

The Artifacts:

Gryffindor
- An ancient and old looking cloak – Wear this cloak and you will become the most courageous person in the entire castle, but be careful not to put your life in danger, there is a thin line between being stupid and being brave.
- An antique penknife – Just touching this penknife will create a change in your personality. You’ll find yourself thinking things that you’ve never thought before. “That boy over there, he’s VERY attractive.” The problem? You’re a male yourself. But it’s not only guys that will be forced to …bat for the other team, females are susceptible to it as well!
- A Broomstick – Fly on this broomstick, and you’ll fly higher than you’ve ever flown before. Sure, it’s fun to begin with, but what happens when you get so high you can barely see the ground and the only way to get down is to jump?

Slytherin
- An old book, simply called “The Dark Arts” – Tempted to read this book? Well don’t. Because if you do, the worse luck will befall you and put you in scenarios that could be…deathly.
- An innocent looking wand – The use of this wand is fatal. The victim will become possessed and will have to do what ever the wand wants them to…and remember, this wand once was in the hands of Salazar Slytherin…
- A beautifully made silver necklace – See this necklace on the ground? What ever you do DON’T pick it up. Remember what happened to Katie Bell earlier this year? The same thing will happen to you…but you might not be as lucky as her.

Hufflepuff
- A dainty bracelet – Wear this bracelet and you will attract A LOT of attention from the opposite sex. You might think that is good thing at first, but there’s only so much someone can stand before they crack.
- An attractive looking pair of black shoes – Or at least, that’s what YOU think. These shoes are really just plain but are charmed to make you believe that they are nice, they magically fit anyone’s feet and make you a VERY clumsy person, so clumsy in fact that you might injure yourself.
- A cute baby badger – If you find this badger and give it home, you might realise that people keep straying away from you in the corridors and some may even stop talking to you, the reason? You might no know, but you smell very bad and only others can smell the pong that you are radiating.

Ravenclaw
- A normal Quill - Find this on the ground and start to use it and you might think that you work is improving greatly, but actually your grades will take a turn for the worst.
- A simple silver ring – Have you heard of the “Seven Deadly Sins”? Well Ravenclaw certainly had. If you wear this ring your personality will be given an overdose of a randomly chosen sin*.
- A very elaborately designed silver hairbrush – Keep your hair neat with this artefact and your IQ will rise like the sun, although, be careful not to let it take over, no one likes a smart-arse.

((* The roleplayer can choose a sin from the following: Lust, Wrath, Envy, Gluttony, Pride, Greed and Sloth))

Once you have acquired the item, you may find that after a few days, it goes missing, not to worry, it wasn’t really yours anyway.

((Hopefully you understand the plot, if not, then basically, the 12 items will be given to different characters, and the characters will become cursed, then your character will loose the item somewhere where it will be found by another character, and so on and so forth. If your character is in the house of Ravenclaw and she/he finds one of the Ravenclaw items, it will have no effect, but the character will still have to loose it so someone else can find it, and the same goes for the other houses. Your character can find the item where ever you choose.
