Kenzie walked out of the transfiguration classroom with a look of disgust on her face. She hated that class. If she didn't need it, she would have left it behind after her O.W.L.S. She silently reminded herself to transfigure the old bat's eye glasses into a spider the next time she was in class. That would show her. She wasn't quite sure what this would accomplish and she was quite sure that she wouldn't have the guts to do this, but somehow it made her feel a little bit better just thinking about it.
The usual clan of girls that followed her was waiting behind a corner. None of them continued on with transfiguration because they had all failed to pass their O.W.L.S. with a high enough grade. They had all finished their third free period of the day. How she envied them. They didn't have to sit with the old bat for three straight hours.
As she turned the corner, her friends followed her and they began to giggle. Apparently Marcus Vetle, a boy that Kenzie used to date, had burned all of his hair off during his potions lesson. He was trying to impress Kenzie's best friend, but instead...
"Yeah you should have seen him Zie! He made a right ass of himself. He sat there smirking at me and instead of adding the root, he added the leaves! You should have been there. You would have just died," she continued as her words became less and less understandable.
Kenzie listened and laughed with a fakeness that was unmistakable to anyone who paid the least bit of attention as she muttered the words, "Root, leaves, and bald" several times to make sure that her friends thought she was listening.
"Well anyway," said the friend, "I'm going to head off to the Great Hall. Do you want to join us?"
Kenzie's heart melted. Thank Merlin for quidditch. "I can't, I've got quidditch practice in about an hour. If I eat before we go to the pitch, I'll be sick as a three headed dog."
And with that her friends smiled and waved their goodbyes as they vanished down the hallway.
Kenzie just kind of stood there for a moment as she looked out the window and out to the grounds. She could see several students walking down to the pitch with their brooms, but her team wasn't there. Just then she remembered that it was Monday. Her team practiced on Tuesdays. She laughed a little and shrugged as she leaned against the wall. She wasn't looking at anything in particular now, she just continued to stare out of the window.

The rhythmic clicking of heels on the stone floor could be heard from either end of the corridors. Unexpectantly, the sound was coming from a tall, blonde haired male who today had paired his Gryffindor uniform, with a pair of 4" black stilettos. Striding confidently, with a strong sense of pride and a large Potions book in his arms was Topher Logan.
Topher Logan had once been a normal boy. Well normal is not exactly the way to put it. Maybe slightly less outrageous. He was always a fun-loving, outgoing guy, but when his twin died, something in him pushed him way past the extremes. He only started occasionally cross-dressing a few years after his great loss.
Topher had just finished his Potions lesson, and had left his friends to head towards the Great Hall, in search of some food. He turned a corner, the noise of his heels echoing through the halls, as in announcing his presence had arrived. As well as the female shoes, Topher dorned heavy black eyeliner around his blue eyes.
Topher noticed a girl he recognised from his classes staring into space. He couldn't help giving a dig. He'd never really liked her, she was a Slytherin after all, and from what he'd seen the ring leader of the Slytherin girls.
"Is there something particularly interesting about that wall?" asked Topher with a childish smirk as he stopped in front of the Slytherin girl, "or do you always have a face like a dead fish?"

Topher listened as she mumbled something about him looking like a gypsy and laughed. "Gypsy street walker?" he repeated loudly, in his northern irish accent, looking genuinely amused and not remotely insulted by the clearly negative comment.
Instead of leaving her be, Topher decided to have a little fun. He walked closer to him, a smirk still placed on his features. He approached her, and dangerously put an arm around her neck, his long arm dangling over her shoulder showing off his black nail polish. He did this as if she was an old friend, where that was far from the case as he didn't even know her name.
"Hunny," he slurred, he looked over at her grinning, "You expect me to be insulted by that when you can barely say it out loud." He shook his head and let out another laugh.
If anyone walked in on the pair of them at this moment, they'd most likely be shocked. Topher had his arm around a snooty Slytherin, who was probably about to punch him any minute now.

Suddenly Topher found himself with a wand poking his chin threateningly, and he quickly withdrew his hand as if the Slytherin girl was a hot stove. For a split second he looked rather frightened, but pushing that aside, he placed a permanent grin on his face. He rolled his eyes cheekily at her.
"Get over yourself," he retorted, mockingly raising his arms up in surrender, "You act like I've just had my hands on all the gold in Gringotts."
As he said it, he thought that this girl probably considered herself as worthy as all the gold in Gringotts. She certainly was uptight as well as full of it, at least that was the impression Topher was getting. He realised she was probably sorted into her rightful house. Slytherin.
Topher glanced down at the wand, without a single strand of fright in his expression. He was confident that she wouldn't do anything to him. They were at school, and she probably had a reputation to keep. He then looked at her, his eyes blazing as if daring her to do something.

She glared at him. One of her eyes closed a bit more than the other as she gave him the evil eye. She couldn't quite figure him out. One moment he looked scared and the next he looked as though he was daring her to do something.
"I'll have you know that what you did was quite rude," she said as she dropped her wand hand to her side. She stuffed her wand back into her pocket and she proceeded to dust herself off which was rather pointless seeing as she looked absolutely perfect in every way. Her clothes were something she could control and she liked control. Nobody could tell her what to wear or how to wear it. After a moment of considering it, she supposed that she had that in common with this boy. His dressed dared someone to say something about it.
"And," she continued, "any girl would have behaved like I just did." She muttered around for a moment as though she were fishing for something else to say.
What is his name, Oh Merlin, what is his name? "So yeah, don't do that," she finished as she looked directly into his eyes. "I might not do anything to you, but I have plenty of friends who would get you for me if I asked. You don't go about putting your arms around random girls any more than you go around snogging them. Its just indecent."
She seemed quite pleased with herself for a moment and she quit dusting herself off and she reached down to pick up her bags. She didn't want to be caught talking to this boy any longer than she had to, but something about the situation made her want to stay to see what would happen next. He wasn't the typical boy she knew. He seemed to be smart and if the truth was told, she did think he was kind of funny. It was a nice change from the brainless morons she knew from Slytherin although she wouldn't ever admit it to another soul.

Topher kept the smile on his face. He had to admit he found it fun to tease people. It was especially fun when someone else snapped back at him. Normally he'd insult people and his friends would just laugh and carry on. It was much more fun sparing off against someone. Topher lowered his arms that had been raised as a sign of surrender and crossed his arms, leaning on one side.
"I don't believe putting your arm around random girls or snogging them is indecent," answered Topher, though that wasn't exactly truthful, he certainly drew the line at snogging random girls, "maybe you're just a prude," shrugged Topher, his cheeky smirk still playing on his lips.
Topher looked over the Slytherin girl as she dusted her clothes off, not that she needed to. It looked like she spent a lot of effort on looking her best. Though her looks didn't seem like much effort, she had very good-looking features. She probably came from a prestigous pure-blood family with veela in their blood or something of that sort.
"You need to untwist those panties of your's, Slytherin," he continued, referring to her uptight reaction to his putting arm around her, "I just put my arm around you, I was hardly about to snog your face off."

Topher was quite pleased as he watched the colour in her cheeks stand out and she was momentarily speechless. Unfortunately though, that didn't seem to shut her up. He laughed when she implied that he'd never snogged a girl before. Though, he figured to most it would seem that way, as if he wasn't into girls, but his cross-dressing had nothing to do with his sexual preferences.
"Oh original," snapped back Topher, still with that incessant grin, "A gay comment. Never heard that one before," he continued his irish accent reeking with sarcasm, "I couldn't possibly be straight could I? After all, I wear female clothing. That means I'm attracted to men, right?"
Topher took a step closer to her, and made a point of the fact that he was having to look down at her from his height, that was enhanced by 4 inches.
"Has it ever occured to you that maybe sometimes I wear heels because of the added height," Topher spoke, though he did not wear heels for that reason, "Or that I wear skirts because I enjoy the subtle breeze between my legs?" With that last comment he laughed again.
He then moved his face closer to her's, "Do you need proof that I'd snogged girls before?" he asked, then immediately pulled away and began pacing around her, heels clacking on the stone, "Oh I forgot you're a prude."

Topher watched as the girl, who's name he still did not know, took her robes off revealing her school girl uniform. He tried to keep his eyes on her's, and no where else, because he knew what she was trying to do. He stayed silent as she spoke and then proceeded to walk away.
She was walking slowly, swaying her hips in an obvious way. Topher couldn't help but look. He was a heterosexual male, and he wasn't going to resist watching when it was being offered on a plate to him dressed in a short skirt. Luckily her back was turned from him. He regained his composure. He didn't fancy her at all, he told himself, looking doesn't mean anything. Plus he refused to give her the satisfaction. He imagined her smug face with disgust.
Topher noticed she was walking slowly, and rolled his eyes smirking. He too turned away from her.
"Or you're out of mine, Missie," he called back in his Northern Irish accent and a bemused tone, as he clicked his way in the opposite direction, heading towards the Great Hall for the food he was originally heading for.
