[Name:] Emmeline Vance
[Nicknames:] Emmy, Em, Emma, some Slytherin’s have been known to call her ‘Easy Em’ because at a winter ball she was caught in the second floor boys toilets with a particularly attractive Hufflepuff, although it was the only time it had ever happened the name has, unfortunately, stuck.

[House:] Gryffindor
[Age:] 16
[Year:] 6th year
[Birthday:] 5th March
[Blood:] Muggle born, both her parents work with animals, her father a vet and her mother a trainer for the Dublin circus.
[Pet:] A Falcon named Dave. Her Mother, being a Muggle and not knowing much about the Wizarding world, went to buy an animal and thought a Falcon would be acceptable. Although some people found her choice of companion a little strange, no one has questioned her about Dave…Maybe they were afraid their eyes would get gauged out…after all Falcons aren’t exactly the friendliest of creatures. However, this stereotypical fact does not apply to Dave, as a bird of prey that has been hand reared by humans, he is actually very gentle and would never heard anyone or anything.
[Wand:] Unicorn Tail hair, Willow, 11 inches, a wand perfect for Charms, aiding her to excel in her favourite subject.
[Broomstick:] She doesn’t own a broomstick; she has absolutely no interest in Quidditch, and because of this she is often criticised for not supporting her house enough, after all those Gryffindor sure do take their Quidditch seriously!
[Patronus:] A Unicorn. Smart, helpful, loving, and kind, betraying her would be much like stomping a sweet, innocent butterfly. She is upset easily, makes a true friend.
[Likes:]
+Charms, her favourite lesson, she’s a little ashamed that she likes it, mainly because she’s good at it and is sometimes the object of friendly banter as a result of this.
+People, she loves other people, regardless of what house they are in, she holds no grudges toward them just because of a stereotype, she can get on with just about anyone, despite the fact that the Slytherins mock her quite a lot.
+Her family. She likes nothing better than getting letters from and visiting her family, she likes a break from the crazy world of magic. Sometimes she finds it a bit too much to handle.
+Being by herself. As much as she enjoys being on her own she doesn’t like to feel lonely.
+ Sirius. She’s not sure why, but when she sees him she feels ‘different’. He’s the one person who makes her lost for words; she can barely talk to him without making a fool of herself.
+Sherbert. One of her many loves.
+Drawing. Something she has always had a passion for, she has been described as an ‘artsy type’.
[Dislikes:]
+Chocolate. She has never really been fond of chocolate, and can’t really see what all the fuss is about…sherbert is SO much better!
+Mean people, enough said.
+Being too cold or too hot. She likes it in between.
+Crowds. She gets paranoid and claustrophobic in them.
+Alcohol. She doesn’t drink, she doesn’t really see the point of it.
[Favourite Class:] Charms all the way. Not only does she enjoy it, but she’s damn good at it too. Despite her love for the subject, she tends not to flaunt this fact about, she knows that she shouldn’t care what others think but it is hard not to be effect by others opinions off her.
[Least Favourite Class:] D.A.D.A., she’s never really got to grips with the idea of defending herself, she is quite passive so doesn’t tend to defend herself at all, she has no need to.
[Languages:] English and Gaelic.
[Accent:] Broad Irish accent.
[Biography:] Emmy was born in Dublin, a perfectly normal little girl, apart form what her parents viewed as nothing but an annoying talent of somehow being able to escape from her high chair, bedroom and cot before she could walk, however the annoying part was that it was this irritating little habit of hers only happened when she was no being watched, as a result they both had no idea how she did it or how to prevent it. Her older brother Lodovich has been her best friend for as long as she can remember, despite the fact that he is a muggle, she has always felt that he is one of the only people that really understands that she isn’t personified by the magical ability that she was born with, something her parents have assumed without actually realising.
Despite this small factor. Emmy has never had any trouble at home, living with the circus, you’d think there was the occasional downfall, but she loved it and is very proud of where she has grown up. She was home tutored until the age of 10 when her parents received the Hogwarts letter. They always knew she was different, and now they know why.
