On a Mission

"Hmm, you're right. We have time to figure that out anyways."

Jossur smiled back at Sophia and then sat thinking. There was plenty to discuss, but for some reason he couldn't bring himself to say anything. It was such a huge thing to work out that he just wanted to run and hide. However, he knew that when things were decided he would feel fine and ready to jump into things.

"What else should we dicuss right now? There's the money division question, the division of time spent with her question, the 'how will our parents react' question, and the 'relationships with other people' question. It's a lot of heavy stuff, but why don't we start with parents; that seems most important and probably easiest right now."

Sophia just sat there yet again dumbfounded. All of this was too much for her. One minute Jossur was upset about the whole thing and now he was thinking of planning their life. Sophia just wasn't ready for it. First she needed to have the baby and then worry about what comes after. She wanted to take things one at a time.

She sat there and stared, Jossur was right about the other relationship thing. Sophia didn't see herself with Jossur, she saw herself with Xavier, but he was gone. She didn't know what to do. At least the parents thing was done on her part, they already knew. Yes, they were pissed that the father ended up being Jossur, not Xavier, but at least they knew. Either way, all of this was starting to make Sophia's head hurt. She needed to be alone.

She smiled and then said, "I'm sorry to cut our conversation short, but I really need to get going. I have plenty of other things to get done today."

She got up and started to walk off, "See ya later, Jossur."

Jossur was a little shocked by the abrupt goodbye from Sophia, but he understood for the most part, having watched her facial expressions. This was a lot to take in and he had gotten ahead of himself. They had plenty of time to figure all those things out and they should just worry about keeping Sophia healthy and safe for now. The other stuff could be decided once they actually had the kid.
