Nearly spitting sparks of fire from her mouth, Catalina watched Dylan leave, before turning back to Bridgett and sighing.

"I really am sorry for ruining your date," Cat said again, the guilt evident all over her features. "You two were having such a nice night and I...well, I don't know why, but your boyfriend has it in for me." She shrugged. "Something about me apparently tends to make him in a foul mood. I promise I'll leave before the concert though, I don't want to ruin your night further," Catalina continued, now quite aware she was rambling.

Taking a chip from the bowl in front of her and biting into it without any real conviction, Cat scanned the crowd again, looking for an opening. Unfortunately, it hadn't thinned down in the slightest. She turned her attention back towards Bridgett again.

"I despise that essay," Catalina agreed amiably. "I've finished most of it, although I'm trying to perfect my paragraph on Merlin's Third Law, it's driving me bonkers."

Bringing her untouched mug of butterbeer towards her, Cat took a sip before making a face. After drinking that mug of fiery Firewhiskey, butterbeer just wasn't up to the bat.

Again, she looked around her. The concert would be starting soon, and hopefully she'd be able to slip away, even more hopefully if she managed to get away before Dylan came back.

Dylan pushed his way through the crowd to get back to the table. When he got back he saw the girls sitting there making small talk. He groaned a little. He had hoped that some progress would be made in his absence, but he came to realize rather quickly that it wasn't going to happen.

"On the way back I heard them say something about five minutes until the set. This should be exciting!"

He looked over at Bridgett who didn't look as though she felt well at all. "Hey Bridge, are you ok? You don't look so great." He pushed the greasy chips back and he put some money on the table. He had been looking forward to this for weeks, but something told him that she wasn't going to make it through the concert. So he did something that was very uncharacteristically Slytherin.

He stood up and he walked around to her. "Lets go. I'll take you back to your common room. You don't look well." He reached out his hand to her to help her up. "I don't want you arguing with me. You look ill. Now lets go. If you'll excuse us Cat," he mumbled.

When Dylan returned and said they should got, Bridgett couldn't be happier. She looked at Cat and gave her an apologetic smile. As they walked away, she looked at Dylan and apologized. She hadn't been planning on getting sick, but she was never good at dealing with stress. It got her sick...obviously.

Even though she was sorry for not going to the concert, she knew it was best that they had left. She didn't even want to think of what would have happened if they stayed. There probably would have been a huge fight and she would have gotten even sicker. Yup, going back to Hogwarts sounded a lot better.

Once they got to the door of the Ravenclaw common room, Bridgett aplogized once again and thanked Dylan for a great date. She also said she hoped that their next date would go better and that she wouldn't get sick. She gave him a kiss on the cheek goodbye and then went into the common room. Slowly she climbed the stairs and collasped on her bed, not worrying about changing. A few minutes later she fell asleep.

Dylan, who wasn't happy about having to leave the concert, headed out of the door with Bridgett. He saw many students standing outside. A security guard was denying them entrance because there wasn't any room left in there. Great now I can't even come back, he thought as they headed up the path in the direction of the castle.

They walked in complete silence for the entire way. Dylan was upset and he figured that it was best to keep quiet or he might say something he regretted.

When they reached the door, he stood there with a very forced smile upon his face. She kissed him and he said goodnight. With that he turned around and headed back down to the dungeons, kicking the air as he went. He knew how ridiculous he looked, but he couldn't help it. He was upset.

After walking around aimlessly for about an hour, he reached the dorms. He was immediately flooded by a group of first and second years begging to know about the concert. He grumbled and yelled for them to leave him alone and he flew down the stairs to his room. He closed the curtains on his four poster and he went to sleep.
