Bindi Elvin could normally be found alone in her dorm when she was out of lessons. She found comfort in being alone and reading an interesting book, and liked to get away from the noise that the common room provided, and today was no different.
As she entered her dorm Bindi immediately noticed the glow that came from her bedside table. She walked over without a second though; curious to what could possibly be on there, as she cleared everything off that morning. But what she saw was a very beautiful necklace. Bindi didn’t normally wear jewellery, but this necklace was different. It was an opal necklace, about medium size, and Bindi felt herself being told to touch it. She decided that no harm could come to it, so she stepped closer, but before she could place the necklace into her palm, her arm brushed against it slightly.
Bindi yanked her arm away as fast as possible, and a cold breeze filled the room. She opened her mouth to call out but was stopped by her own fear. She was being lifted off the ground. Bindi lay on her back, her face toward the ceiling as she rose about six feet in the air, her form limp, like a lifeless doll. She started to shake wildly in the air, pain searing through her body, but unable to do anything. She was helpless. The dreadful combination of physical and mental pain caused Bindi to be shaken and throw about like a toy, as well as feeling like her insides was on fire.
Her eyes were closed now, but something seemed to be pulling at her conscience, making her unable to black out, or worse, which made her feel the pain, which got worse and worse, until Bindi was certain she was going to die.
She heard someone come into the room and scream, and someone else tugging at her arm, and then she fell onto the ground with a hard thump, and immediately everything went black “She needs to be taken to Saint Mungo’s!” Were the last words she heard before she had the sensation of falling.

Bindi Elvin now lay on a bed in Saint Mungo’s, four days later, in the ‘Serious Injuries’ ward, her eyes were still closed, and her hair was spread on the pillow. She wasn’t going to die, but her status was unknown…
((No, Bindi isn’t going to die. But yes, she will be away for quite some time. So in the mean time, I’ll be making another character on this account, and Bindi will be back in a month, maybe more, and I’ll move the character I made while she was away onto a different account =)))
