"A journey we can only dream of
Enchantment passing through
And how is it I say these things
So easily to you"

-----------------------♥ ♥ ♥-----------------------

Lexi hated Mondays. She hated them so much that it is difficult to put in words how she hated them. She hated having to get up in the morning and deal with her roomates, she hated having to go down to the Great Hall and eating breakfast in silence because Rab wasn't there. She hated so much about Mondays that she wished she could eradicate them completely from ever.

She got used to sleeping in and doing whatever she wanted to on the weekend that having to go back to a structured day was like hell on her. She wanted nothing more than to curl up and go to bed right now. Alas, she couldn't because she had homework. Which she didn't do. And she hadn't seen Rab all day. She hated days when she didn't see Rab. She hoped he never realized that the only reason she started dating him in the first place was to make Augustus jealous. Why? Because she was really beginning to enjoy just being around him more than before.

She was currently curled up on the one sofa in the corner. She dubbed this her spot, because no one bugged her while she was sitting here. Except for Rab. She was reading her history book, getting ready for finals. But she wasn't paying much attention to it any more. It was getting late, and the common room was emptying out.

And she hadn't seen her boyfriend all day. It was saddening.

Wild nights out with good friends were always the best for him...except that most of his friends hated his girl. Only because she wasn't pure, she was a muggleborn at the worst of the worst. For Raba, this meant nothing, until his mother were to find out and tried to kill her or leave her to some deserted island. But, for now, Lexi was still his girlfriend, and his mother (or any family) would never possibly find out.

Rabastan and his small group busted into the common room in loud laughter. It soon died off when they all spotted his dear one curled upon her couch. Waving to his friends they rushed themselves down to their bunks, and he moved in on Lexi. "Isn't it past your bedtime?" he joked with a charming grin on his face as he walked around the couch and sat himself on the edge right beside where her stomach was positioned. "History? You need someone to study with, love." he said as he pulled her book away, leaning over and kissing her lightly on the forehead.

Putting an arm over her, he kissed her again on the shoulder while taking a deep breath though his nose. God, she smelt wonderful. Best thing about coming into the common room and seeing her for the first time all day, she smelt better than she did when he was with her all day. It was a wonderful thing, you wouldn't want young Rabastan Lestrange to be walking about with a smelly girlfriend right?

"You smell wonderful." he said with a small chuckle following. Something quite random to start a conversation with if you ask him.

Lexi didn't even notice that Rab had walked in. She loved history. She loved what they were learning about now. People thought that she was insane to continue taking History of Magic, especially with such a horrid professor as Binns, but after fifth year the information got so much more interesting than Goblin Rebellion after Goblin Rebellion. After getting past that they got into the interesting stuff like the founding of Hogwarts, and all of the dark wizards.... she couldn't wait to learn about Grindewald. It was fascinating.

She smiled when he walked over. "I dunno," she said with a smile. "Isn't it past yours?" She never slept, and he knew that. S he functioned so much better on little or no sleep than on a good deal of it. She slept enough when she was at home. She went to protest when he pulled her book away, but he made it all better when he kissed her forehead. Aw, what a sweetie.

She cuddled closer to him, letting her eyes close. She loved being close to him, spending time with him. Everything about him... and what scared her the most was that she was starting to have feelings for him that were much more than just ones of friendship. She was confused, but Rab gave her this attention that she wanted. Rab made her smile and made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And he was so... different. And she loved that about him.

"Of course I do," she said with a slight giggle as she kept her eyes closed and just pushed herself even further into his arms. She could seriously fall asleep in his arms. "But not half as fantastic as you do..." she smiled, somewhat sleepily.

Swinging his legs onto the couch, he laid himself next to her. Holding her, he chuckled lightly with a yawn following, "I'm sure of it that I am." Grinning to himself, Rabastan rested his head back on the arm of the couch, closing his eyes. Raising a brow he laughed and pulled Lexi closer into him. "Thank you....I'm surprised, we've been running though the forest just about all day." he responded to her compliment. For a while he laid there with his arms around Lexi and his eyes closed.

Rabastan opened his eyes and peered over the couch's side. He spotted two of the friends he had been with, a younger girl and a seventh year boy, tiptoeing over the way to he and Lexi. Moving an arm upward, Rabastan gave them the finger and shooed them off. Peering over again, the two had scrambled off to the boys dorm then he returned all his attention to the girl in his arms.

"Pardon me...if you saw that." he laughed putting his arm back around her waist. Rabastan always seemed to be on his nice side while he was with people he cared for, only his family had really seen his bad side. It was rare to even catch him in a bad mood...Kind of strange thinking about a soon to be DE dating a muggleborn and the politest person someone could meet. The thought of having to leave Lexi came to mind frequently, Rabastan shook them off constantly...he just wanted to be with her.

"How was your day without me?" he asked coolly raising his head to look at her.

Lexi grinned, she loved being close to Rab. She loved it so much because he treated her like an actual human being. Not like she was some scum of the universe because her parents were muggles. That didn't make her any different than the rest of them. She could still do magic. And look at her brother. He was twenty-three and already the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation. What an accomplishment for a muggleborn. Not only the Head of a Department, but at such a young age... she was very very proud of her big brother.

She pretended not to see him flip off the other kids. "Saw what Rabby?" she asked with an innocent little smile playing on her lips. Thankfully Lexi had never seen his bad side. She was perfectly fine just seeing his nice side. She liked his nice side. It was sweet. And cute. And adorable.

"Boring and uneventful..." she sighed, letting her head rest on his chest. "I missed you..." she said with a smile. "And your day without me sounded horribly exciting."

Rubbing her back softly he grinned and said, "Nothing, just nothing." She had to know he was lieing. Just had to, Rabastan just continued smiling. "It wasn't that eventful." he said shrugging his shoulder and squeezing her gently. "My day wasn't that eventful..." he paused and thought back about what he and his friends had done over the past hours. Laughing at the thought he peeked down at her "Well...it wasn't much. Just wandered though the forest with MacNair, Rosier, and Bulstrode. Then splitted apart for they could torture Myrtel and for I could go meet up with Dahlia. Annnnd, then we met up again and walked back to he common room." Exhaling in a silly fashion, he chuckled.

"But, babe, you should have went somewhere!" he squeezed her lightly again then released her. "There must have been something for you to do today." He laughed and started to rub her back once more. Sometimes....Rabastan wondered if Lexi ever left her little couch in the common room to wander about without him.

Aw. She loved it when he rubbed her back like that. It was like he was rubbing her problems away. He didn't realize it, but she really felt so much better whenever his hand gently caressed her back. It was such a little thing, but it made her smile. She knew he was lying, but she was so lost in the feeling of his hand on her back that she didn't push the issue. She never really did.

t could have been that part of her didn't care, because deep down she was just using Rab to make Aug jealous. That was why she was with him, right? She was with him to make Augustus pay attention to her... but she couldn't help but find herself falling for the Lestrange boy. While his older brother was nasty to her older brother... there was nothing wrong with Rabastan. Rab was a sweetheart. "Good, wouldn't want you doing anything exciting without me," she giggled.

Young Lexi was such a fantastic actress that she didn't even know herself if she like Rab. Sure they were great friends before they started dating, but she didn't know if these feelings of elation just from him touching her back were real or if she was really getting into the role she was playing. She often got so lost in a character she was playing, that she lost who she was for a little.

"Why do you torture Myrtle?" she asked slowly. "She's not really... that bad..." Oh who was Lexi kidding? She was annoying and even Lexi avoided her like the plague. Lexi... the girl that tries to make friends with everyone and everything she came in contact with.

She let her head fall back on his chest again. She liked the feeling she got from being around Rab. And she hated that these feeling confused her so horribly. She didn't know herself if she genuinely liked him or not. A large part of her wanted to forget about Augustus and be thankful that she had this gorgeous boy that doted upon her like she was some goddess from the heavens. But another part of her still wanted Augustus because she couldn't have him. And no one said no to Lexi Tonks.

    No one.

"I did. I... I went to the library... and then hung out with some of my friends. I wrote a letter to Teddy too... I didn't... do nothing..." she giggled.

But she did like her couch in the common room. It was comfortable and she was lost in her own little world... why should she escape that? She could read her book and just get lost in everything. She often got wrapped up in her books of the French Revolution. It was like she transferred herself back in time and pretended to be living in that time. It was a great way to entertain herself.

Oh the joys of being an actress.

"See, I do things without you Rab!" She stuck her tongue out at him.
