&& potions office & stores
Adjacent to the Potions classroom, the Potions Offices have special charms over them to keep the nosier students away. Inside the office is a fireplace, designed for use within the floo network and the walls, which are in shadow, are lined with glass jars, including the wall behind the professor's desk. There is also a cupboard in one corner containing private stores of potion ingredients.

The Slytherin Common room is hidden behind a large, stone wall. Inside it is filled with green and silver furnature, black marble covering the walls. The main feature is a large fireplace, silver snakes decorating the area around it.

The Hogwarts kitchens are located directly below the Great Hall and are just the same size. They have high ceilings and a great brick fireplace at one end. Mounds of brass pots and pans are heaped around the walls. There are preparation tables directly below the four house tables in the Hall above, and when the time comes for the food to be served, it is magically transported through the ceiling of the kitchen onto the plates. The kitchens are staffed by over a hundred house-elves. To get to the kitchens, take the door to the right of the main staircase in the entrance hall. Follow the corridor until you come to a painting of a bowl of fruit. Tickle the pear and it giggles and becomes a door handle.

&& hufflepuff common room
The Hufflepuff common room is accessed through a portrait near the kitchens. It is a very cosy and welcoming place. Lots of yellow hangings, and fat armchairs, and little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops.
