Amortentia:Her amortentia is something very rare. She often describes it as being something like chocolate Firewhiskey. It smells very sweet and rich because of the chocolate but it has a harsh scent due to the Firewhiskey.
Mirror of Erised:To be happy. Is that so wrong? She wants a family one day and she wants everything to be at peace in the world. She still has no idea which side she’s on at this point, so she doesn’t care who wins just as long as the world is at peace and away from the fighting.
Description of personality:No one person can be described as normal because normality is not one particular thing. Normality, just as beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Cecilia never once calls herself normal, because she knows she can possibly be the weirdest person to ever grace the face of the Earth.
First off, Cecilia is completely loyal to those who are close to her. Cecilia isn’t the kind to betray her friends, and therefore she is loyal to them. She would do anything her friends asked of her, and she would undoubtedly get them out of a jam if they needed her help. On the flip side of that, don’t betray or abuse her trust. Cecilia has a three-strike policy. If someone abuses her trust more than three times, then she’s done trusting them. It is not hard to maintain her trust, seeing as she trusts just about anyone that is a friend, or a friend of a friend.
She is, with no doubt, very stubborn. Once Cici makes a choice, it takes quite a bit of convincing to break her of her choice. Sometimes this can be the worst thing because she doesn’t always make the best decisions. It is possible to break her off of a choice she has made, it just takes quite a bit of convincing to do so.
With no doubt, Cecilia is very intelligent. She was chosen for Ravenclaw for a reason, and everyone can see that reason. She can make split second decisions that always get people out of a tight spot. She has very high grades in Hogwarts and she even is doing something to prove her intellect. Sometimes she makes wrong choices, but she has her reasons behind what she chooses. That is a big reason why she has not chosen a side in the war just yet. She doesn’t know which one to choose.
Though many don’t see it, Cecilia has her dark side. She doesn’t mind the thought of killing and she would kill something or someone if she absolutely had to. The thought of torture doesn’t bother her as much as it should and the history of war absolutely fascinates her. She never shares this side of her with anyone because she doesn’t think they need to know.
Cecilia is a kind person and she’s not hard to get along with. She has her enemies, but she has mostly friends. You can pick the side you stand on. It doesn’t bother her either way.
History Parents:Nikolas Jason McGraw- Age 48- Pureblood
Jasmine Leah McGraw (nee Clark)- Age 46- Pureblood
Siblings:Salina Michelle McGraw- Age 20- Pureblood (sister)
Other:There are too many members of the McGraw family, none of which are truly vital to Cecilia’s life.
Nationality:English
Birthplace:London, England
Wealth:She is a part of the upper class for the main reason of her pureblood name. It is lower, upper class, however, because she is not nearly as rich or well-known as some of the others.
The Story:Most pureblood marriages are based strictly upon who the parents want their kids to marry. A majority of pureblood marriages derive from betrothals. Jasmine Clark and Nickolas McGraw were a very rare case indeed. Nikolas had met Jasmine when he was in his final year at Hogwarts. Jasmine was a sixth year at the time, but he was madly in love. Instead of waiting, he proposed to her a week before his graduation. He knew for a fact if he waited then she would be betrothed by the time he got back to her. Jasmine accepted gratefully, because she had been crushing on Nikolas for quite some time. They were married the second they were both graduated from Hogwarts.
They had one daughter, Salina, in 1958. Nikolas wanted to try one more time for a little boy when Salina was two. In 1960 on September 8th, he was given the blessing of another little girl. They never bothered to try again because they were quite content with having their two baby girls. Cecilia’s infancy and childhood was always calm. Her parents never wanted to force her into staying pureblood, just as long as she married for love. She was always a rambunctious child, and therefore her parents were often cleaning up her messes from something she broke or knocked over.
It came as no surprise when Cecilia received her acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry two years after Salina Nikolas and Jasmine made their ever so familiar trip through Diagon Alley to gather all the things Cecilia would need. It came as a surprise, however, when she received her wand. It was bad enough that the wand was made of the ash wood, but it also had the essence of dragon heartstring. Nikolas and Jasmine completely worried for their daughter at that point. Each of those were normally used for the Dark Arts. They never wanted their daughter into that kind of thing, but they never thought she would even think about it.
Salina had been sorted into Gryffindor for her bravery, but Cecilia was placed into Ravenclaw because of her intellect. She could have easily suited all four houses, including the cunning Slytherin. The sorting hat knew with Ravenclaw she could choose what she wanted to be instead of being forced to do something because of what her house decided.
Cecilia always stuck to her school work, but now her mind is on other things. She has no idea which side to go for. She wants to be an Order member because it might be the right side and because of her friends. She always thinks about becoming a Death Eater, however, because it gives her the thrill of the kill.
RP SamplePain. Agony. Misery. Death.
These were four words that Cecilia McGraw hardly ever thought about, but now they were haunting her every waking thought. Her hands appeared to be shaking with terror with each and every step she took down the dark, dank corridor. The once lively blonde locks were now covered completely by a black hood that remained still against her head. The hood also seemed to be covering her face. It probably did not matter much; Cecilia’s face had been drained of its color but still held the brilliance that her skin was very often known for having.
Why in the world did she even agree to this? All childish happiness that constantly was within her mind was overridden with the thought of death and the smell of burning, rotting flesh. Any sight that the sunlight was continuing to shine outside might have made her feel better but she never got to see that sight. All windows within the building were either covered by bars or were just poison ingredients cabinet that was disguised as a window. The sunlight may have still been shining, but her eyes were unable to witness it.
A shrill scream from a human mouth echoed throughout the entire building, including the corridor that Cecilia happened to be walking through. Just the sound of the nearly inhumane scream was enough to force her stomach into knots. Her feet did not run in the direction of the scream; she knew not to go to it now. She had done so once, and regretted it ever since then. At the time, a man had been the source of the screams. His entire body was lit on fire and he was tied down to a chair with fire-resistant ropes. When the flesh itself was burning red, snakes slithered into the room to take a bite of their barbequed lunch. It had taken all of Cecilia’s willpower not to faint and it made it no better that Antonin was laughing hysterically within the room. She had no idea how someone could be so insane to where they could laugh at a sight like that, but then she reminded herself where she was.
She was in the true pits of hell of the world.
The screams of pain and agony were beginning to die down which was all the proof she needed that the woman was dying rapidly. It was sad, really, because she had been a normal woman. A rather foolish woman that had stumbled upon the secret location of the Death Eaters and now was being put to death to ensure that the location would never be spoken to anyone.
The repugnant odor of burning flesh filled her nostrils which made her double over and place a hand against the wall to keep from collapsing to the hard stone floor. That horrific smell… That smell continued to make her sick each and every single time she had gotten a whiff of it within the past month. She knew that she had to put on a strong façade and never let any of the Death Eaters see her this way. Death Eaters were all strong and powerful; they held a strong prowess in this area and she knew she could not be seen weak. Her death would be swift if they ever knew the truth about her.
She was a spy. A spy for the Order of the Phoenix. She was trying her hardest to keep hope and faith that she would see the bright, smiling faces of all her friends again one day.
Her friends…
October Gracin. Sirius Black. Remus Lupin. They might have been gone from her vision but they were still held near and dear to her heart; they were just starting to fade away even then. She knew if she ever truly lost sight of her friends then she would fall into the darkness that everyone around this place found so exhilarating. She also knew that if she lost that feeling of love she always got from them, then she would even enjoy falling into the pitch black darkness.
With a small breath, Cecilia forced herself into a standing position to continue her way down the corridor. Her reason here was simple: she had been placed on corridor watch by the Dark Lord himself. This gave her permission to travel anywhere that was allowed. To a Death Eater, that was everywhere within the vicinities that were on constant watch by different Death Eaters at different times. Tonight the three Death Eaters on corridor watch duty were Antonin Dolhov, Aaron Wilkes, and herself. They would continue this watch for the next few hours or until the Dark Lord switched them out.
The name Savannah rang out from a distance, which ironically meant someone wanted her attention. Savannah Berrington. The name made her shiver in disgust but it also made her smirk in mild delight. Around here, she was known as Savannah Berrington; a Death Eater that would stop at nothing to make sure that the Dark Lord was satisfied.
She walked further along and into a darker portion of the corridor to find the source of the voice. She had no choice but to continue orders and fake her identity. After all, it was just another day in hell…Secret word you read in the rules?: Golden snitch
