Some people look at us like we're useless, simply people to destory and ruin all that is made. We are pure evil, children of Satan, himself. But they don't understand what life is like here. We come with terrible pasts, bad raisings, and many stories to tell that could start a never-ending novel. But we are who we are. We are teens trying to live in a world that no longer accepts us. We live by our own rules, our own groups, and our own morals. Others may try to stop us, even going so far to kill us, but even that won't hinder us. We are the darkness of the lower city, here to stay, as a gang of friends, as the family we have always wanted. Don't judge us by our shadows, just because we were never shown light. For we are who we are, we are part of the Gangs of Darker Days.

In a large, bustling city which continues to expand, so does its population. Three classes form from the mass of people: Upper class, Middle class, and Lower class. How are they judged? By money and how far you are from the ground below. But on the bottom, on the streets, are the teenagers, the juvenile delinquent class. These rogues have taken the alleys and streets as there own to use and abuse, only the law-upholders to stop them. You better watch it when passing through.

But you ask what gangs are? Gangs are a group of teenagers, around high school age, who have been disowned, mistreated, or are orphans (must of the time), and are now common law-breakers. Gangs can range is size. They are much like regular wolf packs; having a leader and sub-leaders, holding a terriorty, and very picky about members and fights. They hold rivals in areas, often cities. Gangs are not the cleanest of people as well. There is much use of drugs and stealing, fighting and life risking sitautions. A gang is not for everyone.

It's 2010 and yet there is still no way to stop these gangsters. But things have changed and have stayed the same since the old ways in the 1980's all the way to the 1950's. Weapons have been changed to what you get, from knives to swords, from pistols to gerenade lauchers, technology and avaliblity now more and more successful. But the old rivalries still remain. Four main gangs rule this city: the Silver Dragons, the Heavenly Angels, the Daring Beast, and the Feared Tigers. Each hates the other and they make sure to have that well known to those who know of them. The three gangs will do anything to get rid of the other, using any means, all for terriorty, members, and pride.


But it seems if these four would stop attacking each other, they could see other gangs are heading in to take over. More gangs will move in and of the area, threatening the four. But who will be the all out victor in these on-going battle?


Dear Mother,
I'm making it on my own. I make my own allies, my own enemies. I cause problems and fix them. I stand alone with no one by my side, but the shadows of my friends show through me. I accept death and loss. I accept that there is violence in this world, so I embrace it. I am a true ally to many, but a friend to few. If one shall get injured, I shall help, but if one dies, I will not mourn. I am a free spirit, one who dares life and searches to all fights. I am a soldier, and a peacedreamer, one who dares to try and stop the fighting. I will face my enemies face to face and show them what real freedom is.
