I don't know, I respect people who like thier rap yet disrespect them at the same time. It's kind of odd to like such a dreadful type of music like everyone else does.

Well, the funny thing is, the hardcore here is WAY diffrent from there, look at the music they'd call "Europ beat" or w/e they call it, WTF IS THAT?

Hardcore here is mostly harder then it is there, not acting tough, but i had discussions with it with much amaricans on an L2 forum, and they all agreed, metal is a bit diffrent here too, especially metalcore.

And if you think it's only 20% that listens to it here? maybe if you dont filter out the oldies, but if you look at people going from age 12 to 20, dream on, the percentage would be more like 70%.

i don't know why this is such a big deal.. i mean theres a huge gap between people who listen to rap and people who listen to rock


i listen to a lot of rock but at my school, i still hang out with "gangsters".....
and i do like some songs that happen to be rap

there ARE bad rock songs and there ARE bad rap songs

i just look for songs that sound good to /myself/

I totally agree with you joe! I, too, have "gangsta" (As you call them. o_O) friends, but I'm just not interested in rap music. Some songs are tolerable though.
