I know there's a wiki with Torchwood Items, and I've already been through it, but I was just wondering if there's more seen/mentioned that isn't listed there.
I'm doing something incredibly geeky and it needs things that can be used as weapons. Like the hockey stick that Ianto uses in DWM or the Singularity Scalpel - it doesn't have to be something designed as a weapon, just holds the possiblity of... killing someone. So... hit me. |

Ooh, using the brain power for evil! Let's see what I can come up with.
String -- great for garrotting, or tripwire. (Fall down the stairs, very authentic.) The invisible lift -- unless you're Jack, dropping you from the top is pretty likely to kill you. Hypodermic filled with air into a major artery -- stone dead. Those paperweights in the boardroom -- smash someone's brain in. Very famously: ballpoint pen to the eye (or ear, I think?). Or drowning in the pool at the bottom of the water tower. Or... or... I'm sure there'll be another bunch I can come up with tomorrow, if you need any more. I is evil. |

A mouse cord could be used for the same effect. Computer keyboard could be used to bash somebody over the head with. And there's lots and lots of wiring in the hub, also for garrotting or tripwires, or could be used to set up a nice electrocution! |

wow i know who i'm asking when i plan my next murder
hehe, i love that you said that - i DID consider it also, ianto's tray or poisoned coffee, yes looking for more 'specific to the hub/characters' rather than just general stuff, portable items that can be used anywhere - i had a list of possibles and i lost it how many of the artefacts that they have mentioned or referenced can be used as weapons? stuff like that and thanks for replying everyone! |

You mean the baby TARDIS? No, don't hurt the baby TARDIS! Use the little diecast plane that sits near it instead! |

*searches* Aha! Here, see if this link will work: http://torchwood.time-and-space.co.uk/copp...stMan-00327.jpg That nubbly thing underneath the lamp at the far right edge of the picture, it's a coral that supposedly (according to John and RTD) is a baby TARDIS that Jack is growing. |

The look on Gwen's face in that cap is hilarious! She's like "The box won't open. Why, God, won't the box open?"

You can stab someone with the heel of a boot, or at least brain them if it's a chunky heel. I doubt anyone besides Jack would have a stiletto (and I won't speculate on if his would be the knife or the shoe!).
Ianto's empty beer bottles, classic bar fight. You could do some serious damage with the steam from the coffee machine. All those valves around the Hub, at least one of them must be a steam pipe, that would be even worse. Smother them with the greatcoat! Or a cushion from the sofa. Hold them down long enough to crush their heads under the stone on the invisible lift. Might be a bit too slow, though, like the steamroller scene in "A Fish Called Wanda" Rocks from the Rift pool. Or break the glass on any room and make a knife. Pull a frame off the wall, break it, four stabbing weapons and some glass shivs. Hubby just leaned over my shoulder swearing that in prisons a tightly rolled magazine or newspaper has been used to stab someone. He's a former prosecutor so... Grab the net from the basketball hoop and strangle them. Or hang them from the basketball hoop outright. Get more use out of that Torchwood branded crap... Behead them using the lid to the manhole. Or crush their heads in the cog door. That weird spiky art on the table in the board room: nice stabby thing. If those flashlights they carry have any weight to them at all, like a Mag light, they make lovely blunt weapons. Pen to the jugular. Get them a job at Jubilee Pizza and have them deliver the order WITHOUT the cole slaw. Dude, it doomed Annie! |

Overnight thought: poison someone with alien pesticides from the greenhouse.

Noooo, there's a weird thing that looks like a golden pineapple in Jack's office. It's there in about three episodes and never gets mentioned. And it's only there in the first series (so I can't tell you where, because I don't have my DVDs...) Trust me though, it's there |

Heee, Jack and the character based on me very nearly died in that manner in my friend's TARDIS Big Bang Of course then my friend decided to park on the roof level of the parking garage at school the other day *just* so she could take me to the edge and go "See that? That's how high up the ground you are on the invisible lift." (I'm terribly afraid of heights, I'd be a panicky scardy cat on the lift cuz it's high up) More weapons...to borrow from my friend's Big Bang, there's plenty of weaponry in the Tourist Office, like those nice collector's mugs that you could knock someone out with. I bet Ianto sells paperweights in there too. |

Anything the least bit sharp or pointy, from ballpoint pens to screwdrivers to glass shards, can tear open someone's throat. It's messy and bloody, so you can't go wrong!
