If you make a mistake, don't hesitate to PM an administrator. We don't bite, so don't worry!

-Okay. So, let's give an example:
BOOKworm2232 = bad bad bad!
Hermione GRANGER = bad.
MISS GRANGER = bad.
hermione jane granger = Yes, good!
-Claims. This is really easy. Once you're accepted to the site, then (
and only then) can you sign up for the avatar claim. If you sign up before hand, and you aren't accepted, it will be deleted. End of story. Once you're accepted, you'll be prompted on how many posts you need to sign up for other things like quidditch and prefects.
-Signatures and avatars. See, I've got it set so the icon can exceed no more than 100x100, that should be easy enough, really. Signatures should exceed NO MORE THAN 500x200. That's so it doesn't stretch the board. it also has to be OF YOUR CHARACTER. I'm serious about this, people. I don't want a random icon full of stupid, or a 50x50 icon of POTTER PUPPET PALS. (While that's potter related, I won't accept this. EVER.) Text-only icons are sometimes allowed WITH your signature, but not as your avatar.
- If you're having trouble getting graphics, There's usually a graphic shop or two down in the right category. If you want, though, ask the staff, we're all capable. :]
-Animated icons are not exactly welcome. While we won't complain if it only moves a little
like this. (This isn't the right size, but it's a good example.) But,
this,
this, or
this, might cause our eyes to bleed while roleplaying, or distract us. (We're easily distractable.) So, yeah. Avoid animated icons at all times.
-There's a Roleplay sample on the application. At least two well-formed paragraphs are
mandatory for this. Please keep this in mind.
The application must be completely filled out for us to check. No spaces are to be left behind. Please.
- ABSOLUTELY NO ANIME PLAY-BYs! I'm sorry, but this drives me nuts. Random Myspace people are alright, as are celebrities, and even random people off the street! but anime and drawings are completely out of the question. Sorry. If you make an application with this, you will not... I repeat, WILL NOT be accepted. No matter how nice the application is.
- Mkay. So this is a HARRY POTTER SITE. Not a "Lord of the rings meets harry potter and they go to narnia" site. So, seriously. You CAN NOT decide to take somebody from a different whole series, like Lord of the Rings, and throw him/her into the site. I swear to god--- any application like this will not be accepted. Not in any way, shape, or form. Sorry.
- Another thing, be realistic. I know, I know, the Potter-verse isn't always realistic. But, a first or second year isn't going to be a fully-registerd(or unregistered for that matter) animagus, and be able to summon a corpreal patronus-- blah blah blah. Seriously. I mean, just, make the character real.. in it's own potter-verse sense.
Posting.-Bad Spelling/Grammar is my pet peeve, but it doesn't have to be perfect. Sure, mind isn't perfect. But, if you tlak liek dis, I'll be forced to kill you. :3 (I'm kidding! Don't worry... or am I?)
-At least Three hundred words a post. You can go under once every thread, but any more than that, and the post will be deleted. The site is at least Semi-literate and above, so yeah. This shouldn't be too hard, really.
- Well... If in doubt, you can always refer to the five senses. (you know.. Sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste.) OR you could just go into detail with every little thing the character's doing. That would work, as well.
-I'm not going to make everyone post three million words a post, but if I see a one liner, you get a warning. Another one, another warning. Now, if you IGNORE THE WARNINGS, you get suspended. When you're back, you get ONE MORE CHANCE, by then, hopefully, you've learned your lesson though.
Rating. Content.-The Rating of this site is pg. 13- R. Yes, that's it. Now, seeing as it's pg-13 - R, certain things are allowed. Swearing and sex are absolutely allowed. Swearing. Now, while it's allowed, don't go overboard. If I see a sentence with swearing every other word, even if your character's language is supposed to be (the secret code is green sour apples) gutter-material, I won't exactly be happy. And, now, to explain the second part of this. Sex. See, Sex happens. Teenagers do it; they really do. But, understand this, don't go into detail. Fade to black... wake up the next morning, whatever. **If you are planning to go into massive detail, make a warning. Warnings are mandatory. If the scene wasn't planning to go where it did, simply fix the title; it's easy. One last thing about it, no porn. That's something that bothers me to no end. NO PORN IS TO BE POSTED ANYWHERE, AT ANY TIME. <3

-Respect your administrators, and the other members. We have this cute little button in the Admin control panel that we just add your name to, and your IP address is banned! So, really (We don't ban people for just anything) but, if you're flaming other people, or being disrespectful to others because your older, you don't like their religion, character, whatever. Remember, we can ban people. It's an easy, helpful, little button!</span>
