dungeons & sub-levels
The Dungeons are easily the coldest and creepiest level of Hogwarts. During the sweltering summer months, brave students can be found sitting down here in an empty chamber, reading or playing exploding snap.

ground floor
Double oak doors frame the entrance to this large hall. Looking straight ahead, you catch sight of large marble staircases, and off to the corner you see four large hourglasses filled with different colored gemstones. To your right is the Great Hall.

first floor
Going up the large marble staircase you were greeted with in the entrance hall is how you get to the first floor. There are several classrooms located on this floor, however, beware. All classrooms look identical from the outside, and there are some you'd rather not enter.

second floor
The first set of moving stairs show themsleves on your journey to the second floor. There are more classrooms, but also several portraits. Watch yourself, these portraits know more than they appear to.

third floor
The third floor is one of the most silent floors, because it contains the hospital wing. One peep out of you, and Madam Pomfrey will fly out of her office and give you detention for a week. Worst of all, her detentions usually involve scrubbing bed pans!

fourth floor
Much like the third floor, the fourth floor corridor also needs to remain as silent as humanly possible. The reason for this is the library wing. Need more be said? Madame Prince isn't exactly fond of loud speaking, and soon enough she'll snap.

fifth floor
If you've made it up past the third and fouth corridor, then feel free to scream your lungs out up here! Just be careful to stay away from the Prefect's bathroom while your doing so. There are plenty of empty classrooms, why not scream there?

sixth floor
Feel free to roam these hallways, but watch out for the Head Boy and Head Girl. Their chambers are right at the top of the stairs, so they hear everything. Otherwise, the area is quite empty. A corridor, an empty classroom. See, the sixth floor isn't exactly full of life.

seventh floor
Top of the school! Besides the towers, of course. Excluding the Gryffindors, there is really only one reason students come to the seventh floor. The room of requirement, of course. So why not take a trip over and check it out?

There are 6 towers in all. Climb the stairs to reach the West Tower, containing the Owlery, and the Astronomy Tower. Enjoy!

There are tons of things to do outdoors at Hogwarts. Not only do you have things most people won't go near, such as the Forbidden Forest and the Whomping Willow, but you have more mellow things, such as the lake and the Quidditch Pitch.

the hog's head
Located in Hogsmeade, this smelly, and rather dirty pub, gives off the impression of having never been cleaned. Hermione Granger would describe it as "dodgy" and "a place where I don't think we'll be heard." Since the windows are incapable of supplying light, the tables (which are rough and wooden) are lit by the stubs of candles. Everything is unpleasantly dusty, from the floors to the windows and even the butterbeer bottles.

honeydukes
Under the magnificent sweet shop of the all wizarding city of Hogsmeade runs a secret passageway. When you go through it, you will be extremely relieved to find yourself at the trapdoor that leads into the cellar of Honeydukes. Eager as your stomach may be to consume all the delicious sweets inside Honeydukes, you need to be careful because a rather rotund man often comes up to get more crates of various candies. Or, you can be like a normal witch or wizard and come through the front door.

the three broomsticks
The Three Broomsticks is a magical saloon where almost any kind of drink is served. Students and Professors of Howgarts love to come in on chilly days for a wonderfully warm drink. It's usually quite crowded, and is generally not a good place to hold secret meetings (for students, that is). But the professors can get a nice private chat what with all the hubbub between students over chocolate frog cards.

Here is where students go to fill their pockets with little toys to cause havoc. Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog-spawn Soap, Nose biting teacups, and other hoodlum accessories are sold here. Fred and George Weasley, along with Lee Jordan, practically pick the store clean. Though I'm sure they aren't the first. The Marauders were the first of their kind.

the shreiking shack
The Shrieking Shack scares the creeps out of little children who hear about it. It is the most haunted location in Britain, and adolescents enjoy teasing each other about the violent spirits who allegedly reside there. But, the Shrieking Shack no longer shrieks or shakes with horrifying noises. In fact, it has remained silent for years. Under the Whomping Willow, there is a secret passage that leads to the inside of the Shrieking Shack. The interior of this foreboding little shack is perhaps like any other house inhabited by a werewolf. The curtains are torn, it's awfully dust, and the bed is a mother's worst nightmare. Back in the day, a werewolf used to come in there and destruct the place after he transformed from a person to a werewolf. After that, three other rowdy boys would come in after him and they would have the time of their life.

A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples. On Valentine's Day Madam Puddifoot hires floating golden cherubs to throw pink confetti on visiting couples.

strets and pavements
It's Hogsmeade. Though usually covered with snow, the place does have pavement. The cobblestone pavement tends to be ignored as people walk on it. A few benches are situated in the area, and people seem to have conversations here often. Always busy street and sidewalks, of course.

A company that helps witches remove "warts and worse," and that recently advertised for Junior Potion mixer in the Daily Prophet. Madam Primpernelle's is located at 275, Diagon Alley. Best place for hair-straightening potions, and other potions used for appearance boosting. Normally- if there's a man in there, he's in there with his wife or girlfriend. It's not exactly a guy's hang out.

Mademoiselle Cameron came from France in hope to sell her dress robes to the English. She makes them of all colors, shapes and sizes. Students are allowed here at any time, and it's a popular place for older students to go to when there's a ball.

Away messages. Come here and post your away message if you're going to be gone for a good length of time. If you don't, your character may be deleted after two weeks of inactivity. If you're a main canon, and disappear for over a month and a half, your canon will be opened up for another to try out for it. And your account will be deleted if they are accepted.
Don't disappear for that long. Please.
