Henry/Charity:

You're The Top by Cole Porter.

I can just see them performing it!

Henry (who would of course enjoy amateur theatricals a great deal) would particularly enjoy parts like Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. He would love performing Me.

Oh, I totally just heard Nick's song! Random. It has to be this -

There's a lot that I don't know /There's a lot that I'm still learning
But I think I'm letting go / To find my body is still burning
And you hold me down / And you got me living in the past
Come on and pick me up / Somebody clear the wreckage from the blast

And I'm alive
And I don't need a witness
To know that I survived
I'm not looking for forgiveness
I just need light
I need light in the dark as I search for the resolution

And the bars are finally closed / So I try living in the moment
'Til the moment it just froze / And I felt sick and so alone
I can hear the sound / Of your voice still ringing in my ear
I'm going underground /But you'll find me anywhere I feel

The Resolution by Jack's Mannequin (side project of Something Corporate singer)

As far as Rebecca goes, as of now I'd have to slap her with Janis Ian's At Seventeen

Lyrics:
I learned the truth at seventeen
That love was meant for beauty queens
And high school girls with clear skinned smiles
Who married young and then retired
The valentines I never knew
The Friday night charades of youth
Were spent on one more beautiful
At seventeen I learned the truth...

And those of us with ravaged faces
Lacking in the social graces
Desperately remained at home
Inventing lovers on the phone
Who called to say "come dance with me"
And murmured vague obscenities
It isn't all it seems at seventeen...

A brown eyed girl in hand me downs
Whose name I never could pronounce
Said: "Pity please the ones who serve
They only get what they deserve"
The rich relationed hometown queen
Marries into what she needs
With a guarantee of company
And haven for the elderly...

So remember those who win the game
Lose the love they sought to gain
In debitures of quality and dubious integrity
Their small-town eyes will gape at you
In dull surprise when payment due
Exceeds accounts received at seventeen...

To those of us who knew the pain
Of valentines that never came
And those whose names were never called
When choosing sides for basketball
It was long ago and far away
the world was younger than today
when dreams were all they gave for free
to ugly duckling girls like me...

We all play the game, and when we dare
We cheat ourselves at solitaire
Inventing lovers on the phone
Repenting other lives unknown
That call and say: "Come on, dance with me"
And murmur vague obscenities
At ugly girls like me, at seventeen...

I found a new song for Charlotte...

Be OK by Ingrid Michaelson.

I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok
I just want to be ok today
I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok
I just want to be ok today

I just want to feel today, feel today, feel today
I just want to feel something today
I just want to feel today, feel today, feel today
I just want to feel something today

CHORUS
Open me up and you will see
I'm a gallery of broken hearts
I'm beyond repair, let me be
And give me back my broken parts

I just want to know today, know today, know today
I just want to know something today
I just want to know today, know today, know today
Know that maybe I will be ok

CHORUS
Just give me back my pieces
Just give them back to me please
Just give me back my pieces
And let me hold my broken parts

I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok
I just want to be ok today
I just want to be ok, be ok, be ok
I just want to be ok today

I just want to feel today, feel today, feel today
I just want to feel something today
I just want to know today, know today, know today
Know that maybe I will be ok
Know that maybe I will be ok
Know that maybe I will be ok

I feel like this would have been her sort of song when she first arrived in England.

Thank you Lin!
What light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the sun.
During the day, Juliet is dressed in a simple dusty rose dress with puffed sleeves and a ruby red sash.
In the evening, she is dressed in a pale purple evening gown with a white underskirt, paired with an amethyst and rose gold necklace

Resurrect!

Will's song: The Virgins' One Week Of Danger biggrin.gif

Well is there something that you like about her?
Yes.
I like the way that her body bends in half.
And is there something that you love about her?
No.
There ain't a woman in this world I wont let go.

Stephen's got one:

Aww s--t
Get your towels ready it's about to go down
Everybody in the place hit the f---in' deck
But stay on your motherf---in' toes
We runnin' this, let's go.

[Chorus]
I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)
I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)
Everybody look at me cause I'm sailin on a boat (sailin' on a boat)
I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)'
I'm on a boat
Take a good hard look at the motherf---in' boat (boat, yeah)

I'm on a boat motherf---er take a look at me
Straight flowin' on a boat on the deep blue sea
Bustin' five knots, wind whippin' out my coat
You can't stop me motherf---er 'cause I'm on a boat

Take a picture, trick (trick) I'm on a boat, b---h (b---h)
We drinking Santana champ, cause it's so crisp (crisp)
I got my swim trunks, and my flippie-floppies
I'm flippin' burgers, you at Kinko's straight flippin' copies

I'm ridin' on a dolphin, doin' flips and s--t
The dolphin's splashin', gettin' e'rybody all wet
But this ain't Seaworld, this is real as it gets
I'm on a boat motherf---er, don't you ever forget

I'm on a boat and, it's goin' fast and
I got a nautical-themed pashmina afghan
I'm the king of the world, on a boat like Leo
If you're on the shore, then you're sho' not me-oh
{Get the f--- up, this boat is REAL!!!}

F--- land, I'm on a boat, motherf---er (motherf---er)
F--- trees, I climb buoys, motherf---er (motherf---er)
I'm on the deck with my boys, motherf---er (yeah)
This boat engine make noise, motherf---er

Hey ma, if you could see me now (see me now)
Arms spread wide on the starboard bow (starboard bow)
Gonna fly this boat to the moon somehow (moon somehow)
Like Kevin Garnett, anything is possible

Yeah, never thought I'd be on a boat
It's a big blue watery road (yeah)
Poseidon~!! Look at me, oh (all hands on deck)
Never thought I'd see the day
When a big boat comin' my way
Believe me when I say, I f---ed a mermaid

I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)
I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)
Everybody look at me cause I'm sailin- on a boat (sailin- on a boat)
I'm on a boat (I'm on a boat)
I'm on a boat
Take a good hard look at the motherf---in' boat (boat, yeah)

Whoahhh
Sha-sha-shorty, shorty
Yeah yeah yeahhh

I've been looking for songs for a playlist for Viola, and I found a song that to me sums up Julianne and Juliet's future relationship.

What is this feeling? from Wicked.

Haha, Rose, I totally agree re: Juliet/Julianne, or as I have come to think of their relationship, The Battle of the Jules. As far as song for my character's go, we have:

Julianne - Material Girl by Madonna
Julianne/Robbie (Jobbie?) - Boys of Summer by The Ataris

Lizzie -

Kate - Hat Full of Stars by Cyndi Lauper
It has it all - her penchant for hats and the lines "I'm trying to live in the present/But I keep tripping on the past."

Poppy -

Tony -

Francis - Don't Worry, Be Happy by Bobby McFerrin

Cassandra Gosling - Sissy's Song by Alan Jackson

Sort of unfair to poor Victor, but largely, it fits -

Gooooold-FINGerrrrrr!

Goldfinger.
He's the man, the man with Midas touch.
A spider's touch.
Such a cold finger,
Beckons you to enter his web of sin,
But don't go in.
Golden words he will pour in your ear,
But his lies can't disguise what you fear.
For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her,
it's the kiss of death, from Mr. Goldfinger.
Pretty girl, beware of his heart of gold.
This heart is cold.
Golden words he will pour in your ear,
but his lies can't disguise what you fear.
For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her,
It's the kiss of death, from Mr. Goldfinger.
Pretty girl, beware of his heart of gold.
This heart is cold.
He loves only gold.
Only gold.
He loves gold.
He loves only gold.
Only gold.
He loves gold.
