The London social Season of 1811 is well underway and all the diversions it supplies are entertaining the haute ton. The men are coming in from their country seats to sit in Parliament and the women are bringing their unmarried daughters with them. But as all ladies know, catching a husband is all well and good, but certainly not at the expense of one's reputation! Will you be a matchmaking mama, a marriage shy gentleman, or a gossip monger intent on bringing everyone down? Anything can happen; it's the London life!

The pampered only child of Lord Delamere and the owner of the equally pampered Croquembouche, Miss Wriothesley has come to London to stay with her cousin, Lady Jane Middleton, for the Season. Perhaps somewhat regrettably, Miss Wriothesley sent Viscount Latimer a love letter expressing her feelings for him last Season, though it has since become quite clear that Lord Latimer does not particularly share her sentiments. Will everyone involved be able to extract themselves with their dignities intact or are hearts doomed to be broken?

Betsy is one of The London Life's most appreciated and dedicated players. Not only does she write the lovable Miss Beacham, the beleaguered Miss Staunton (you would be too with Mrs. Quartermaine as a chaperone!), and the fortune hunting Mr. DeLancey, she also serves as an Applications Moderator. Without Betsy, the game would certainly run less smoothly and be far less entertaining. Thanks for playing, Betsy!
