So, lately I have been tracking down my family on geni.com (It's fun!)
Have anyone considered using this software to make a big, allconsuming family tree for LL? I'm sure everyone have a common ancestor with someone somewhere up in the tree tongue.gif

You could have done this already for all I know. Or perhaps you think it's a lame idea. It was just a thought that crossed my mind.

There are some past threads in the character development section that involve some pretty complex family histories. For me, it's too much work for something that won't really work its way into my posts. I've worked my characters' history back a couple generations for the sake of the current play, but beyond that I don't find it necessary smile.gif

Maybe some day when I'm extra bored...

Yeah, for me too it's something I'm just not interested in doing. I have my characters' immediate family (and ancestors) in my head but I find all the timeline, family tree and similar threads to be an insane amount of work for something that I'm never going to use. I just do not have time in my life to do that sort of thing, and if I do ever have time to spend working out family trees it's unfortunately going to have to be my own family, not fictional characters.

But there are some pretty impressive family trees on the board, and maybe some of the authors of those would be interested in doing it?
