The London social Season of 1811 is well underway and all the diversions it supplies are entertaining the haute ton. The men are coming in from their country seats to sit in Parliament and the women are bringing their unmarried daughters with them. But as all ladies know, catching a husband is all well and good, but certainly not at the expense of one's reputation! Will you be a matchmaking mama, a marriage shy gentleman, or a gossip monger intent on bringing everyone down? Anything can happen; it's the London life!

Date & Weather
April 16th, 1811
The uncomfortably hot weather from earlier in the week has mellowed into a gentle warmth that hints that winter has said adieu, and spring is here to stay. Gentle breezes keep things from getting too hot, though it's unlikely anyone will lose their bonnets today!
Known alternatively as Mrs. Quartermaine, Aunt Demelza, and the Dragon Lady, Mrs. Quartermaine is the resident grande dame of the ton. Currently in town with her niece, Miss Staunton, her opinion can make or break an aspiring hostess, let alone a mere debutante. With a variety of suitors competing for her niece's hand, will she be able to guide her to a successful and amicable match, or will her blunt demeanor scare away Miss Staunton's swains?
Player
Emily
Emily has become known on the boards for her unique and fascinating characters. Whether it's a closeted viscount (Victor Kincaide), a feisty governess (Rebecca Garrison), a dedicated sailor (Stephen Brydges) or a silver fox (Walter Roydon), Emily never fails to entertain her fellow players with her witty posts in the forums and clever remarks in the chatbox. We're lucky to have her and thank her for playing!

LOL, of course!
I'm going with Lady Louth, she seems like she'd be a good ruler and she's got the smarts for it!

Tough one. They have to be likable and kind of cute and people have to be able to relate to them. My first thought was actually Juliet - but it'd be soooo beneath her to even enter so I've decided it would be Sukey. Though Marcus would get runner up if he takes his shirt off by the pool enough
Most likely to become a popstar?

Haha, Lizzie. She would totally love it. Perhaps she and Charity would team up together.
Most likely to join a terrorist cell?

Patrick for quarter back! Just because he's so big and friendly.
And Elise for head cheer leader. She'd be the girl who's popular and good at everything.
Most Likely to Get Knocked Up...

currently wearing a light-weight empire waist gown of indigo with small geometric patterns on it. Her hair is curled and woven with ivory ribbon. Around her neck hangs a small cross on a delicate silver chain.
For the musicale she wears a cap-sleeve dress of deep red over ivory satin, trimmed in delicate point lace and slitting down the middle. Delicate pearls are braided into her dark hair.
