((Aww Hammie's first London Life invitation! And he's sitting next to Demelza. Oh dear..))

I am absolutely, positively overjoyed to have received an invitation. I am delighted to attend. Absolutely delighted.

My apologies, in my hasty reply I did not sign my name. Again, I cannot express just how lovely this dinner will be.

    - Mr. Poore

Dearest Perdita,

Poppy was absolutely delighted to receive so many affirmative responses to her party, though Mr. Poore's answer did have her a bit concerned. She'd only invited him to keep numbers even, and his letter did little to put her at ease. Lady Tessington's response, on the other hand, made her sigh in gentle frustration. Perdie indeed! Such an impertinent nickname, though she really wondered what else she could expect from Lady Tessington.

My Lord and Lady Ackland,
Thank you for your kind invitation for the evening of April 25th. I am delighted to accept, and look forward to the event tremendously.
With many thanks,
Geoffrey Stapleton

Dear Lady Ackland,
Your dinners are always lovely, and this one, no doubt, will be best of all! Miss Fforde is most pleased by your notice and will be happy to attend, and Mr. Smith and I would not miss it for the world.
Do call on me if there's anything I might help you with!
Faithfully yours,
Edith Smith

{Will sort out the twins with Vikki! And Georgie handles the Haworths' schedule.)

Lady Francesca sat to answer Lady Ackland's invitation with some amount of trepidation. She could only hope that Jemima would continue to be manageable and not prove a poor influence on Miss Gardiner. It was enough to worry about Cecily's behavior without having to fear for her daughter's influence on other young ladies of society.

Lady Ackland,
Your invitation to dinner is very much appreciated, and I am happy to accept on behalf of myself, Mr. Palmer, and Jemima. We look forward with great anticipation to the event.
Yours,
Lady Francesca Palmer

Jem is wearing a gown made of a light off-white fabric with thin blue-grey stripes; it has a small slit that reveals just a bit of an underskirt the same color as the stripes. A rather plain bonnet is worn over her curled hair.

Liz, I'm so sorry I didn't reply to this before, but of course Demelza will be there, and so will Hugo. Hopefully this won't get lost in the shuffle over to the new board!
