Title: Hark! A vagrant
Description: Austen comics

So last night I stumbled onto Kate Beaton's Hark! A vagrant, and...well, 99% of them nearly made me pee my pants laughing, but I figured the Jane Austen ones would be fun to share, here.

Oh, Betsy (I think?) introduced me to these a while back... my favourite is actually the "Dude Watching With the Brontes" one - http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=202

(Though I think personally I'd use slightly different language, but I appreciate the sentiment)

Ahahahaha I love that one, too. Anne IS the only sensible one...

I think my favourite so far is the Robespierre one. Just because I have an endless crush on his utter craziness in every form.

I highly recommend buying her book. It has some never-before-seen cartoons in it and also is a good thing to shove into peoples' hands.

I've never seen my sister laugh harder than when she saw the Yeats cartoon.

My personal favorites are the pony cartoons, and the pope ones as well.

Well hot damn. Apparently my sister used to work with Beaton at the same university... (I wondered, and so I emailed my sister to ask.)
Huh.

I like the last Mr. Darcy one the best. And poor Anne!

Once again, Beaton delivers. Deliciously.
