 Hangman's Ropes?, Any museums?

Hey guys,
I was just wondering what happened to the ropes and other apparel used by hangmen in Britian's prisons. They were specialised ropes so I doubt that they will have been used for more usual tasks involving ropes such as tying things etc. Are there are museums in Britian where such ropes and the rest of the hangman's kits have been donated and displayed within?
