WHEREAS the Esteemed Gentleman known as Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur has applied for Full Citizenship in Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire;

AND WHEREAS Dame Gudrun Eriksdottir, The Duchess of the Vesteralen has petitioned Us in Our Council of State for an Order to grant the said Esteemed Gentleman known as Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur Full Citizenship in Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire;

AND WHEREAS the said Esteemed Gentleman known as Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur has passed the Civics Test that is required by the Law of the Weal;

AND WHEREAS the said Esteemed Gentleman known as Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur has shown, during conversations between him and Us as well as during questioning by the Citizens of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire during the examination period required by the Law of the Weal, that he is of good character and that he has an excellent understanding of the ways of this Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire in particular its traditions, its culture, and its laws;

BE IT ALSO KNOWN that this Our Imperial Instrument shall come into effect immediately after the said prospective Citizen Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur has taken the Affirmation of Stormarkian Citizenship in the Schedule to this Our Imperial Instrument.

SCHEDULE

"I, ......, a prospective Citizen of this Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire, do hereby promise and affirm that in future I shall always be faithful to the House of Ettlingar Freyu and also that I shall bear, at all times, bear true allegiance to this Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire. And I do also solemnly declare that I take these obligations freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion."

* Aldin is sitting on a soft bench in a waiting room of the Hall of Frigga. Suddenly a Clerk walks up to him. He is told that there is some good news for him: the Emperor in the Council of State has passed the Order in Council granting him Citizenship and that a Lady Commissioner of Oaths and Affirmations is awaiting him to administer the Affirmation of Stormarkian Citizenship which he is required to take by the Law of the Weal to let the Order in Council granting him Citizenship become effective.

The Clerk then invites Aldin to follow him and they walk through the long hallways of the Hall of Frigga to the Spindle Room where a Lady Commissioner of Oaths and Affirmations will administer his Affirmation of Stormarkian Citizenship. *

* Aldin and the Clerk walk into the Spindle Room where Lady Wenche, serving as Lady Commissioner of Oaths and Affirmations, is awaiting them.

Lady Wenche is smartly dressed in a blue woman's suit and is standing before a wall with a huge portrait of Lady Frigga, the Chief Norse goddess. A High Priestess of the Temple of Frigga, holding a copy of the Old Tale, the Saga of Stormark's Creation, is standing near her. *

Please raise your right hand, put your left hand on the Old Tale and repeat after me:

"I, Aldin Vanadisarson Isammađur, a prospective Citizen of this Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire, do hereby promise and affirm that in future I shall always be faithful to the House of Ettlingar Freyu and also that I shall bear, at all times, bear true allegiance to this Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire.
