__RULES;
o1. The first and foremost rule on our board is to be mature. The admins here will not tolerate immature behavior from any of our members, end of story.
o2. If you're signing up as a canon character, you are required to be active. Without active canons, our board will not be able to flourish. Three canon characters per role-player unless given the permission by an Admin directly--any others you'd like to play will be original characters. The character limit is FOUR, but that's pushing it. And if we have an abundance of preppy seventh year girls, I'll personally shall punch someone in the face, and it will probably be the preppy seventh years. If you can no longer play your character, PLEASE contact one of the admins. Your character ratio must be equal, such as if you had a female character, you would have to make a male character before making another female.
o2B. Please make your characters original. Everyone loves a rebel, but having everyone rebelling against everything or loves absolutely everyone. We want to see some creativity here! There are no perfect characters, contrary to popular belief. So we don't want to see them.
o3. When registering, please register with your character's first and last name. Examples: "james sirius potter" or "lily luna potter", and mot "iluvharry4eva". Nope. Not gonna cut it. If you spell the name wrong, We will be more than happy to correct it for you, but other than that. If you are applying for a canon and someone already has registered with that name, just place an underscore or a period after the last letter and the admins will change it after you are accepted.
o4. Posts should be made in third person, and should be of substance of at LEAST two paragraph (6-9 sentences a paragraph). This is really not that hard, and makes it easier on everyone else. Lengthy posts make a role-play move along easier. Use your senses to explain what's going on. Writer's block is no excuse, so I don't want to hear it. It happens, but posting shouldn't be THAT hard for you.
o5. No chatspeak. No spamming. No isms.
o6. To apply, you must be over 13. This site is mature, and there will be mature situations. We don't want to see these situations all over the place, but it will happen. Please place a little "[M]" warning somewhere in your topic to warn everyone.
o7. If you have a problem with anyone on the site, please come and tell me or one of the other admins. I will not tolerate public bashing on our site. It is rude and unnecessary and if I find someone is pming others and bashing members that way, I will ban them and their IP address, no warning on that one. If you suspect someone or know someone is doing this, please pm me and I will confront them.
o8. Graphics are allowed on the board. Signatures MUST be under 500x300. Avatars are 100x100. We will allow 2 rows of three icons or one row of four, but if it stretches the page, We shall scream. If you need graphic help, you can ask for help from someone, or on pandora's closet or red carpet and rebellion. Please make them pretty to look at.
o9. Keep OOC drama out of the role-play, or I'll beat you, simple as that.
1o. You must have an entrance post for your character at least one week within being accepted. If not, we'll move your character to Inactive, and you don't want that.
11. Try and use proper grammar. Really. Its not that hard. 'don't talk to me mr. radioman'. Also, spelling. we will allow a few misspelled words, but if is happening in every other post, you shall be warned, then three strikes and your out. If you have a hard time spelling, run EVERY post through a spell-checking program. There are hundreds online and microsoft word has one.
12. Hey, please be original. DON'T STEAL PEOPLE'S STUFF. That is just wrong. If you did not type it, don't use it. Please, you may get away with it sure, but most of the time you will be caught and if you are, you better be prepared for the punishments.
Admin reserve the right to alter these rules at anytime.
We are easy going admins, we allow a great deal of leeway with our rules and such. This doesn't mean that we will allow you to stomp all over us. There are certain things that I take very seriously, such as signature sizes and being a god in your role-play. As long as you don't break either of these rules we'll be happy and as nice as can be. We hope that you enjoy your time here with everyone and have a great time.
