Hey guys. So i've decided we're going to do Into the Woods. It's amazingly fantastic and fun. I'm going to list the roles and what kind of characters they are. You can look on YouTube for some clips. This will be a good opportunity for the St. Tristan's girls and Karl Emery's boys to mingle.
Also the play wouldn't go on without the tech crew. So we're going to need some techies.

Role you would like: Little Red Riding Hood
Why you should get this role:
"I think I should have this role because I really enjoy theater and I'd like to do more. I haven't done much in the past. I played Gretl in Sound of Music when I was little and I was in the children's chorus in Joseph, which were a blast. I've been told I've got a pretty good singing voice and I just love acting. I really hope to get this part because I have always loved Little Red Riding Hood as a child."

Why you should get this role:
I have much experience in acting and singing, I've been doing both since I was three; almost four. I love both singing and acting, and I can easily remember my lines. I enjoy theater and have had at least two experiences, that I can recall. In a Pinnochio play, I was Jimony Cricket, and a random farmer that Pinnochio ran into. In an Alvin and the chipmunks play(It was a one time thing, interesting really) I was Theodore. I enjoy theater extremely, and am hoping to have much fun in this!

Name: Tabetha Lilah Sinclair
Theater Experiences: None really, but I'm not gonna be acting, I'm just gonna be painting and getting the set together. I can do that and I have experience in that type of stuff. Seriously, come on. You've seen my stuff!
Role you would like: Scenic Designer
Why you should get this role: Because I'm good at art and I know how to do stuff and do it well. I mean...I can get a bit lazy and stuff, but since it's for school and Grandma really likes plays I think I'll do good. Plus, the fact that it's me who's making your set will attract more people. Come on, everyones heard of my parents. But anyways, I think I would be awesome for the part 'cause I'm good at what I do and I have connections with people and can get stuff. Ok, here's the truth, it'll look good on my college resume that I did stuff around the school, and since Grandma wants me to go to college, it would be really awesome if I got a part. Hey, think about it, this will keep me from doing other stuff, bad stuff, stuff everyone knows I do, so seriously, think about it. You know you want me.

Why you should get this role:
"Because I love pulling things together to make something beautiful. I would just love seeing the costumes out on stage on the actors actually in use then what I make at home so they can sit in the closet or for my mother to sell off for kiddies at Halloween. I may not look or give the impression that I'm a hard worker but when it comes to something I'd really love to do you can bet I'm going to put 110% into it"

Theater Experiences: "I don't have any acting experience, but I built sets and did other backstage work throughout high school."
Role you would like: "Working on scenery would be good, and run crew would be fine too. I'm good for any odd jobs backstage or behind the scenes)."
Why you should get this role: "I worked on sets/scenery throughout high school, and I have experience with backstage work such as run crew as well. I don't want to take positions away from any students, but with those sorts of jobs, it seems like more people are always helpful, and I would like to help."

Name: caleb charles cunningham.
Theater Experiences: a midsummer night dream, mcbeth, othello and many more productions in his past schools.
Role you would like: the narrater.
Why you should get this role: "Because I have a strong, clear voice and can manipulate emotions through words and with that voice. I have been in multiple productions before, in my previous schools, but none in st. tristans. Including a starring role in midsummer night dream and othello, where I was Lysander and Cassio. I plan to be a profession actor in my later years and hope being in this production will help give me the experience I need. Normally, I would go for a lead role but because I have no talent-- well, I have no experience with singing I thought best to take a role with lite singing and mostly speaking."

"Because I uh am, how do you put it? Much better looking then any of these uhm other Cinderella Princes. Uh huh, that is what I said. Oh, and I want to wear those big uh boots? You know the big, tall ones? I want to do the leaps like, what is the phrase, like no bodies business! Also, there is nothing wrong with the rolling around on the uh the ground with the pretty lady, no?"

Theater Experiences:
"Back in like, elementary school, I used to do like, the stupid Drama-Rama things, and other like, play acting stuff. I actually wrote my own play for my third-grade class and tried to perform it. Well, we did perform it, but it wasn't as big of a hit as I guess I wished it was. Now as I've grown up, haha, I don't really want to be so much in front of the crowd as behind it. I'd rather like, command people on how to do the play. Haha, you know me, I love being in control! Hahaha."

Why you should get this role:
"Well, I can be pretty demanding, and stuff. And people listen to me. Hahaha. Plus, like, I'm smart. Haha. Uhm, I'm good at scheduling things and like, the such. I pretty much get along with everyone, so there's like, no way that there'll be any unnescessary drama in the play. Uhm, I don't know. Like, I wanna be apart of the play, but I don't wanna be in front of the audience. So I think stage manager would be aweeeesommeeee for me!"

Why you should get this role: Because I'm an outgoing person and I love acting. I'm a very good dancer so any role that requires jumping or dancing would be good for me. I've done singing leasons before so I have a good voice and I'm not afraid of large crowds. I'm willing to do any role from something small to something big.

Why you should get this role: "Well, I am basically a theatre sub teacher. And I'm sure help will be needed for something; I'm willing to do whatever is needed - anything from co-directing to chorus to lighting to costumes to handing out programs."
