I noticed a lot of you have GPA or have IRH but want GPA. I was wondering, I don't see a point in spending twice as much for the subtle difference in looks, but what do you guys think? Is there much a difference in comfort/air flow while wearing them? I just got the gorgeous but little known Lami-Cell one for $139 and it is LUXURY! People at my barn were talking, it looked expensive and most A show riders there don't even bother with GPA when there's IRH, I just laughed and said it was Less than your IRH!

I have an IRH and I love it! It has really good ventilation, so my head doesn't get very warm AND the helmet doesn't get stinky.
I know a girl that has a GPA, but she only got it because she couldn't remember whether it was the GPA or IRH that everyone had. Personally, I think it's people's opinion and whether or not they have and want to spend the extra money. -------------------- |

i really want an IRH but my mom is all like "your helmet is fine ill just buy you a velvet cover..." and then im all like, dont spend the $20 to get me a cover, put it towards my new helmet etc. Yah, im stuck with my ugly Troxel at the mo, but i am hoping to get a job at the Adventure Ranch to help buy myself some new suff...

I wore the bottom of the line troxel with a velvet cover for 5 years and it was hot! But did it's job.

i've always used troxel. nothing else. except when i was 3 the bike helmet would do
. the velvet lining of the rim and outside edges of my helmet started wearing off a year ago. the night before the show i use the "fake leather spray on" stuff and wala! it looks like new around the edges and rim --------------------  |

I have a Troxel, although it's your standard velvet English helmet.
I owned two IRHs - one last me a week (too small), and I had the other for a year before having to buy another size up which is when I got my Troxel. I love it! -------------------- |
