Baby had to remind herself many times to keep her anger in check. "Ha ha ha very funny." she said sarcastically. "Like I haven't heard that one before." she rolled her eyes. She had more or less heard all the name jokes. "So are you going to rescue me from a corner now?" The Dirty Dancing line had to be a favorite among both guys and girls. Though she did get very different responses from the two.

Baby couldn't help but let out a frustrated sigh. Nate seemed like a nice guy and all, but could not understand why he would want to hang out with someone like Jason. There had to be real good reason to their strange friendship. Not that she was going to ask with him around, but maybe another time if she were to ever meet up with Nate again.

Sitting quietly leaning back in the chair Baby waited for the perfect moment to strike. As tempted as she was to just beat him up she needed to keep her cool. She had a feeling at this school physical fights were not looked well on. Verbal fights were not her strong point, but she had a feeling that at this point that would be okay.

"Like I haven't heard that one before."
"So are you going to rescue me from a corner now?"

If anything, Jason certainly wasn't swayed by her sarcasm at all. Some chicks don't dig his humor when they were obviously not blonde enough not to get it (a round about and more insulting way of saying they were intelligent enough to understand his humor). In fact, it spurred him on to make her even more amped up and annoyed with him. He was a big annoying prat that way. Also, the unfamiliar line kind of threw him off-balanced for a bit, though he did not show it and merely shot back in his casual way.

"Who wants to rescue you anyway?" He scoffed and rolled his eyes.

Nate was the nicer one of the pair, so it was safe to say that Jason was a childish snob who basically was a jerk whenever he felt like it. Of course, he does have his nice moments - usually when he was down, but not really down - but it just wasn't happening at this time of the day. He ignored her sigh, opting instead to talk to Nate. He was more interesting anyway.

“I think it’s my charm you lack."

He chuckled, and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right," he scoffed in a playful way.

Nate was a charmer all right, and the fact that it'd been ages since he had anything serious with a girl proved it. But that didn't mean that Jase was in any way out of his league. He could charm any girl he wanted as well, even a gay guy if Nate put him up to it sometime. Well, he would try, but hopefully it wouldn't work too well. He was not comfortable with the thought of being attractive to other males as well. That's just totally whack, man, he thought. He was not that open-minded. A threesome is good, but not if he was the sandwich between other guys. Hell no. He'd better get that thought out before it seeped into the conversation somehow.

“What brings The Rodriguez to the common people’s canteen?”

His demeanor changed to a mock haughty one - he didn't take himself too seriously anyway, not that much - and said in a upper-class British accent, "Oh, you know, I was feeling charitable today and figured I could always give the commoners a treat." He laughed, unable to hold himself that way any longer. "Geez man, was looking for you to tell you I found this," he turned to Baby, the look on his face a little conscious that her presence might hinder him from talking before turning back to Nate, "usual stuff, you know," he shrugged, knowing that there wouldn't be anything else besides chicks and babes that he could possibly ever want to tell Nate. Was he shallow like that? Naw, he didn't think so. He was just being ... frank, and open.
