December the Fifteenth:
One may wonder at why I bother to help those in need when so much of the population of Eterno decide that it would be better if others suffered in order to make themselves have a sense of purpose. I choose to do so by a moral sense of what is good to me. I see no need to cause suffering needlessly. I see no need to kill without reason. And I see no need to steal and cheat my way through life. Those that are less fortunate than others seem to need a beacon of hope in which they use as a reason to live on. I choose to be one of those beacons.

December the Seventeenth:
One thing I hate now is the way that the Insurgi choose to go about 'policing' Eterno. They torture their prisoners in hope to find out more about the criminal organizations that we continually hear about. Often these attempts to extract info prove unsuccessful, sometimes even resulting in the unfortunate victim's death. What can I do though? I am bound by the law, as are we all. It is, I believe, my duty to save those less fortunate than I. Nonetheless I still bring criminals to the Insurgi. I do it to keep them off the streets, but it still pains me with thoughts of the cruel treatment they are about to recieve from the Insurgi interrogators. It is almost too much to bear.

January the Twenty-fourth:
I once had the opportunity to talk to another who enjoys long conversations. He was a male phoenix that had a rather unusual view of the world, one which I find interesting as to why he'd think it is the proper way to live. Though I must admit to myself that I do not view this as correct. His views said that in order for one to live life to its fullest you must also partake of all the negatives just as often as you do the positives of life. This would involve one having to beat themselves senseless, almost to the point of death. This phoenix has claimed to me that he has found elightenment in this lifestyle. I asked this one why would someone willingly beat themself. He replied, "In order to understand a situation, you must look at it from both sides of the argument. You must see why someone thinks for something, and why another disagrees against that same thing. For one to get full knowledge of life you must experience the negatives and positives, because you can't have one without the other.
