.the fountain
At the centre of Cri's civilization there stands an ornate fountain, crafted by the draconians. It serves as a meeting place where public speakers can make their voice known. Now, there is rarely an occasion for such oration, and it has become a general hangout and meeting place for friends, lovers and even some small groups. The fountain itself depicts a sea serpent coiling up a Corinthian pillar, the alabaster carved in such detail that every exquisite scale shines. Water pours from the serpent's mouth, filling the curved basin at its feet. Since its creation, though, the fountain has weathered and now it stands as merely a shadow of its former glory.
