.the blood farm
On the outskirts of Malum, if you follow the road long enough, you'll find the blood farm. This gruesome factory harvests humans and other creatures, bleeding them to feed the citizens of Malum. The farm is usually avoided by all creatures, even vampires, for it's a well-known fact that humans aren't the only critter on the menu here.

Outside the city there stretches a large expanse of field, dead and vast, only ending where it meets the wall. This expanse is largely unpopulated because of its close proximity to the wall and, by association, the creatures that live on the other side of it. However, there is also rumour that under the earth's surface lies an intricate maze of tunnels where the Caedo originally lived. No one looks for the entrance, though. Not unless, of course, they wish to join the Caedo...

The city of Malum is dense: a world of concrete walls casting long shadows on the already grim civilization. Here, the streets are riddled with crime and shady back-alleys. The residential homes are broken up frequently by retail outlets, brothels, bars and grocery stores where vampires can purchase bottled blood. It's not the most charming of societies, but it suits the residents just fine.
