I have 2 great uncles who were in the British Army. One was Dublin Fusiliers and was wounded in Galipolli.I have his records.
The other was Henry Beckley born 1895 in Dublin, who I'm told enlisted while under age. I have a photo of him in uniform, with my mother aged about 4yrs. she was born in 1915 He served in in Bermuda, and was said to be looking after Officers Wives. I cant find any record for him. I would love to know which regiment he was likely to have been in. Would both brothers join same Reg.? |
