This year marks the 90th anniversary of the sinking of the "R.M.S. Leinster." The ship was sunk by the German submarine UB-123 on 10 October 1918, with the loss of over 500 lives. Forum members/visitors may be interested to hear that An Post (the Irish Post Office) will issue a stamp on 30 May 2008 commemorating those who were lost in the sinking.
