This is a role-play about the destruction of the halo one ring but each time trough the eyes of a different character, every post is a story from the start of halo combat evolved up to the destruction of the ring or the death of your character.

"All unarmed personal report to evac station."

Daniël rushed from his sleeping quarters to the armory to get a gun, any gun as long as he could fire, the ship was in chaos. He ran trough a hallway with pipes leaking steam and nearly burned himself trying to get trough. The ship was shaking and he fell on the ground as a extra hard one pulled the ground down a bit, making him trip.

"Private, get your as up and moving, no sleeping on the floor in times like this!"

Corporal Kazama pulled Daniël from the ground and got him on his feet. Kazama was a hard as but a great leader. Daniël really looked up to the guy. Kazama continued his normal phase toward the end of the hall and got out of sight. Daniël progressed his haste to the armory and as he got there people where handing out guns like mad man. Another private he knew as Sirmentro passed him a shotgun and a assault rifle.

"Thanks man, got to go."

Daniël walked out of the armory and walked up to a officer.

"Sir, where do you want me, Sir!?"

"Get your late ass to sector five six four B on the double."

"Sir, got it, Sir!"

Daniël hurried to the elevator and got in while it was shutting. It was packed with lots of marines, technicians and other crew members, it stopped at every floor and people where squeezing in and out. The lights where going off and on but suddenly they stayed off as the elevator stopped midway two floors. Daniël and two other marines took a try at getting the door open but this was no low tech office elevator.

A marine in the middle of the group pointed out that the elivator had a hatch at the sealing and they got it open and people slowly got out of the elivator and into a maintenance passage. Daniël finally got out and just as he was on top of it he saw something about twenty floors up that took his attention.

"Hurry up!"

Daniël forced the person in front of him in and got in, he took the hand of the person behind him and pulled him out the elivator. Just as he did the cables snapped and the elivator rushed to the bottom floor. Daniël held the wrist of the technician he pulled out and he got pulled into the pass, pulling the technician to safety two. A explosion erupted as the elivator hit the lowest floor, Daniël knew there where at least still five people inside when it went down, they had no chance of surviving. After a short walk with zero view they got to a exit of the maintenance passage and landed in a war-zone. Covenant had boarded the pillar and now they where taking over sections of the ship. Daniël opened fire on a group of grunts who where fast in returning fire to Daniël. A fellow marine threw a fragment granade toward the grunts who duck not nearly far away to get out of range. The granade exploded, blasting the grunts away while ripping of their feet and legs. A elite turned toward the group of marines and opened fire with a plasma rifle. Daniël opened fire with his assault rifle and damaged the elites body shield. The shield went down and a fellow marine chased a bullet trough the elites skull. Daniël ran over to the corpse and got the plasma rifle, ditching his assault rifle. Daniël looked around and saw they where in a evac station, the technicians where getting in escape pots and they needed marines to keep them safe, Daniël just needed to get the hell of this ship so he got in a escape pot. It closed as he filled the last seat and buckled up.

"Lissen up, for all of you who did not know already, we are going to land on that giant hoola hoop in space, if we land we are going to try and hold our ground or even drive the enemy back a bit."

Daniël payed attention to the sargent doing his speach but he knew it was all a matter of landing or crashing and where they would do so. the pot left the ship and launched into space, banshees and longswords where zooming by but they safely made it passed them and into the rings orbit. It was almost asif they where landing on a planet but this was absolutely not a planet, but the life on the ring needed the same protection as any that on a regulair planet. The escape pod made it into the rings atmosphere.

"Hold on tight, this will be a hard landing." The pilot spoke as the pod was closing in on mountain terrain. Daniël held on to his seat belt as tight as he could, he always had a grudge for these pots and now they would prove they where useless, Daniël could feel it in his bones. The pot crashed into the mountain near a forerunner structure. The pod made no casualties but trough the front window a ice spike penetrated into the stomach of the pilot. All seat belts whent lose and the sargent went for the pilot.

"People, lets melt this ice spike and get this pilot some medical care."

A flametrower on the lowest flame degree melted the ice and the pilot was taken out of the pod. Outside there where no hostiles to be seen but you can never be shore. The forerunner instalation seemed the best defence but if it had covenant inside that defence would count for them. Daniël went along with the rest of the pod crew up the mountain towards the forerunner structure but as they got there and the large door was shut tight it seemed like the power was off and the door could not be opened.
