It is taunting me, nothing less than that. I've tried almost every single way to make the sentence apply to the letters while considering the numbers once that was done. All I get is gibberish, no matter what I try. Am I taking the sentence too litterally?

take the sentence as literally as you can. it's a clue.
work with this info within the boundaries of each 'word' you have above. what's missing?
then apply the 5x5 formula.

Stupid question: Is it suppose to give something you are able to read, or is it just going to be one big pile of letters?

in the end you will have a word.
but you need to go through a few processes to get it.

Been staring at this one for a month now. Tried just about any stupid way of cracking this one I can think of. I'm sick of it dry3.gif
