What are ur views about it? The music is okay, but the culture that surrounds it for me is very childish. The people i know that are into this thinngy, for me are just a bunch of bozos. They claim that they are sad that nobody loves them. But the thing is, these people i knew belong to middle class income families who are ipod brandishing, nokia n series users and starbucks gulping loonies, and they claim that when their alone they are sad and they wanna die....Pathetic Loonies if you ask me......

I believe it must be the subculture that are made the most fun of at all. Admitted, the suicidal look upon life almost begs to be made fun of, but besides that I believe that people are over using the word 'emo' now a days. It has almost become a term of abuse...
About the music (= back on topic ;)) I don't mind it.

I hand out razors to kids that dress "emo" at my school.

yeah! the wrist cutting thing, its just for show. They cut their wrist just enough that they bleed, but not enough that its fatal. Then they take a "PHOTO" of it and post it on their "MYSPACE", "MULTIPLY" or "FRIENDSTER" profiles add a "recycled poetic gloomy" caption and their off informing their friends by PM that they posted an image of their depressive episodes...

views for life/death/anything - nope

only good thing - there's sometimes nice dressed girl with dark make-up (+1) good balanced, so there isn't too much, uuh, synthetic sh*# on her face, that is - some emo females look good, but that's rare anyway.
