Tonight, Omnimaga introduces new awards for our fellow members and staff. At the end of every years from now on, we will posts two polls, asking for your opinion on which forum user of a certain group are the best and to make sure you don't get any ideas we are posting the meaning of the acronyms as well:
-G.O.A.T.S.E. (Greatest Omnimaga Active Top Staff Ever) At the beginning of December, this poll will be posted as news, as the one attached to this news article. The poll will also be added to the front page left side. This first poll will ask for your opinion on which Omnimaga current staff is the best. It will includes coders of tomorrow, managers and admins. As I am the website founder I will not be included in the poll though. Also, only the current staff will be listed in the voting poll, as lot of members may not even know most of the retired staff at all and some staff retired before this website even opened at all. Each members will be allowed to choose 2 staff in the poll. However, if you vote directly from the front page you will only be able to select one choice, so if you want to choose more you will need to click the discuss link below the vote button to access the poll from the topic and vote in it. This is a bug with Invisionfree or IP Dynamic Lite.Voting will last one week. -G.O.T.C.U.E. (Greatest Omnimaga Top Contributing User Ever) When the staff poll will close we will post one for members who contributed the most in our community. Inactive members and retired staff will be listed in this one, but only those who have at least 200 posts at the time the poll will be posted (should be next weekend or next monday, depending of online schedule). Next year it will be 300, in 2008 400 and so on. We will not add any members to the poll after it is put online. For this poll, 5 choices per members will be allowed. Again, if you vote directly from the front page you will only be able to select one choice, so if you want to choose more you will need to click the discuss link below the vote button to access the poll from the topic and vote in it. This is a bug with Invisionfree or IP Dynamic Lite.Voting will last one week too. After both polls ends, if in any case there is a tie between most voted members/staff we will start a new poll that will last one or two more days to break that tie, and that for both polls. This will make sure only one staff and user wins. When it all ends the winners will be posted in the award section of the website. So start voting now! UPDATE (12/10/07): Poll is now closed and results hidden until new year. -------------------- |

Are we allowed to vote for ourselves if we're in the poll?
I wouldn't anyway (I don't consider myself anywhere near great enough to win this poll) but you didn't specify. Also, AWESOME award names! LOL! -------------------- Greetings from 2/5/2012!
The forums may be in read-only mode, but signatures aren't! |

yeah, votes are anonymous, even to administrators. I encourage all people to vote honestly in this poll.

Votes are visible to everyone I think as invisionfree have no option to hide results, but you need to vote to view results.
As for voting for yourself be honest and only vote for yourself if you really think you are good staff ![]() This is a tough choice though, because I am trying to base myself on how nice the staff is, how active is he on the forums, how active is he for calc programming and similar factors, so if i choose a staff for one factor usually the other factor outdoes the former. I will probably end up in elimination mode instead x.x @Thestorm for staff hiring that may be more after xmas, as I may be busy soon with work and other stuff and need to work on either a calc or a Pc project when hiring start again. -------------------- |

I cannot seem to vote -- no matter what I do.
There are definitely more deserving candidates for the win than me. Good luck to all! -------------------- Ranman
