Well, this weekend I wrote 5 songs (I kept getting sudden inspirations) and today I wrote tons of lyrics. I realized that I love ska, and I've always wanted to record a major ska project. So I am currently fine tuning what I wrote, I will then get a band together teach them the material and eventually (once they have learned all of it) record. This has been something I've always wanted to do and I'm very excited...

Ok, I wrote the first verse to the song 'Cold Steel Heart, Clenched Iron Fist' today. My goal is to have the other three done by the end of the week (I did the chorus over the weekend). Horn-lines for this song are complete.

basically you have lyrics and just music sheet, rigth? Or are you recording each sounds separately then putting them on top of each others using a sound editor afterward? I remember dysfunction did this once for one of his song

Yeah, basically I have 50% of the music (and 5% of the lyrics) written. As I complete songs I send copies of the sheet music and recordings of bass playing the part (in case they have trouble understanding it) to the musicians. Once it's all written, and we've all practiced the music together I'm gonna take it to a studio and record the music.
