Ok, through a complete fluke of a dinner bowl and an alarm clock, I was able to create a satellite dish thingey using the internal antenna of my alarm clock(I think) to make my wifi card go further. smile.gif

I *had* a bowl completely covered with aluminum foil, with a usb port about 3 inches suspended from it but the foil got ripped off.

ah i see, yes I am a post junkie tongue.gif but remember I have been here almost the whole time and it is the calc forum I am the most active on. Before Omnimaga forums reopened in May 2005 I posted 1500 posts on MaxCoderz in 3.5 months
