This is version 2.00 update to the Mysterious Cities Of Gold RPG, released in May 2007, based on an old anime of the same name, dating back in 1982. The update feature much better music sound quality, some music change, extended intro in replacement to the low quality/resolution video, more challenging side quests, a bonus dungeon, secrets, enemies, bosses and many more.
As the previous version did, this RPG features many things from most RPGs and a quite good and long storyline for a freeware RPG. If you are quick you will take at least 15 or 16 hours to finish the game, but some RPG lover prefer to explore everywhere and want to finish all side quests so if you are one you may end up playing this game for at least 30 hours! Features: -Over 300 areas to explores -10 towns -Over 90 enemies and bosses -33 magic spells -Some puzzles -Over 60 items -Many side quests, challenges, secrets and bonuses -And more! ![]() Note: Because this version of the game features much better sound quality, longer music loops and some additional ones, the file size is very huge. The versions 1.xx of the game were around 28 MB huge. Version 2.xx is over 61 MB! So if you have a slow connection you can download the other version from the archives instead. Remember that it will miss all new side quests and sound may be terrible on your computer. You can find more information about version 2.00 and the download there: Version 2.00 -------------------- |

I still haven't gotten the chance, so I'm going to see what happens under WINE with Linux (it probably won't work, but...whatever). I know a previous release didn't really work, but at least it partially worked, and displayed the Omnimaga logo, before flashing an error and freezing.
