Title: Slight abscence (edit: back)

grendel - December 6, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
Just a note: something came up, and it may be a few days (at least) before I can check in. Maybe a week or two, at most.

Don't ask. It's just a personal thing. ;)

;.; sorry to hear :(

I hope it isn't something bad tho, in both ways I wish you good luck and looking forward for your return

Netham45 - December 7, 2007 07:23 PM (GMT)
Don't forget about us! :hi:

Liazon - December 7, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
we'll be here don't worry.

is it me, or has activity dropped a bit in the past couple days?

art_of_camelot - December 8, 2007 12:07 AM (GMT)
It has been a tad bit quiter than usual.

DJ Omnimaga - December 8, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
Yeah I am a bit worried atm, is it because of school finals or something? Because practically all staff are no longer working on anything anymore and some staff like Halifax are missing in action :(

I hope activity pick up again soon though, especially project wise, because it's the projects that keep Omnimaga active the most.

ya i keep forgeting that about half of schools have exams before break, and the other half after.

DJ Omnimaga - December 9, 2007 06:20 PM (GMT)
btw in USA how does semesters work? Is it like in elementary school over here where u have one semester before halloween, another before xmas, another before easter and another before school end? Because I remember lot of ppl having exams before or during halloween. Also ppl graduate in january or something, right? I remember once necro became super busy at that period

I need to understand more because not living in USA it is hard to understand for me when the community become suddently inactive or when lot of people suddently vanish with no way to contact them x.x

spengo - December 9, 2007 10:01 PM (GMT)
At my school it is like, 2 semesters a year, one from summer to christmas break, and another from then to summer.

DJ Omnimaga - December 9, 2007 10:04 PM (GMT)
In hi school over here they merged 1st semester with 2. Idk why they did this really because now the first semester alone is longer than the two others together. Idk why they didn't left it as it is or just merged the two last one as well, that way it would have been like in college/uni

spengo - December 9, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
I think some colleges here use trimesters (3 per year) instead of regular semesters (2) like my school does. I don't really know the advantages or disadvantages of them, but I know it sucks if you transfer from one to the other because some of your credits don't work out right and then you don't have as many as you would otherwise.

DJ Omnimaga - December 9, 2007 11:40 PM (GMT)
yeah thats what I thought. I think that over here they just merged credits of the two first ones together though. I'm not sure if it still works how it did in elementary school though, because I finished it in 1998

spengo - December 9, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
lol, I don't even remember what the schedule of my elementary school was like. XD

DJ Omnimaga - December 9, 2007 11:46 PM (GMT)
for me it was kinda random, but it blew compared to hi school because you could have 3 french classes in one day sometimes

grendel - December 10, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
Hey, I'm back. A bit sooner than expected. :)

DJ Omnimaga - December 10, 2007 01:58 AM (GMT)
