what size wheel spacers are need to put on 255 tire without rubbing because i had 245s and they rubbed when i would put the car sideways around turn i could here it..not a nice sound

I also have 245s in there and never rubbed either. You may have a kinked frame or suspension piece somewhere.

I would say try to find the thinnest spacer available.

You have the limited edition iroc don't sell it. Its worth millions.

Lol. Check the suspension I had the same problem. Changed the ball joints and the front end. And fixed a lot of the rubbing in front

charged355 Nice camaro. I also own one.to the rubbing of the tires and the body,many things play into that situation poor bushings,bad spindles,axle assembly,poor bearings. hoping to join you guys in a car meet,just have to complete my camaro. og2964

I had 255's on this summer and they didn't rub.....are you using the thin shims that came with the car? GM put thin shims on the rears with the 16" rims. The fronts will rub slightly when you turn no matter what...my 16" iroc's rub even with 245's, but only when I turn sharply.

i probably still do have those shims on can take them of or do i need to replace them with aftermarket

Usually the front tires rub on the front wheel well liners. Spacers won't fix that. Spacers fix the rub on the inside wheel wells...

I'm utilizing the thin, factory shims on the rears but don't rub at all in the front using a 245/35/20...definatly check alignment and suspension componentry.
