I'd like to, but I don't think I want to cut holes in my car anymore.

Whats the big deal? Originality of the body? I had this discussion with my buddy nd his 67 Mustang, if you are cutting a hole to fit a transmission, does it really matter if you plan on keeping the car the way you build it? Its not like its a temporary fix, Do it the right way and make it LOOK like the car came with it. Plus, worst case scenario is you have to weld the hole shut, grind down the welds and paint over them like they were never there...

like i said before, unless they changed the case also the T-5's cases cant really handle more than 250 HP or so
so is it really worth getting this tranny?
unless im just retarded and have no clue (no pictures so yea.....)

It's real weak spot is in the 3rd gear cluster. As the tranny is put under load, the case flexes and causes bind in the 3rd gear cluster... with failure as a result. Thats what it says on tgo.

Not this tranny! It has straight-cut gears which doesn't spread the case like the stock helical gears. Also the gear set used here is made of stronger materials. G Force has a lot of experience building T-5's for racing...so this box can take a lot of power.

oh ok, just making sure because from what i remember from memory the tranny stock was only rated 2 265 ft/lbs of torque, and i knew the weak point was usually the case but that makes sense
