Well, I'm sure that some people on this site I will know, and some I will not. So that we can all get to know one another, however, I'd like everyone to post in this thread, and just tell us a little about yourself.

I'm 21 and at uni, majoring in Art History, and I have exactly half a Law degree. I enjoy dancing, shopping, fashion, travel, swimming, art and languages. I've also studied Drama, French, English, Archaeology and Politics. I've travelled quite a bit and hope to do so more. In particular I love France and French culture, and I'd love to live there some day.

I live with my boyfriend (Mestryn, for all those who don't know) and our kitten, Nefertiti, in Canberra, Australia. We plan to move to Melbourne in a year or so, where I'm hoping to get into a fashion degree, as that's really what I'd love to do.

Wow, that sounds like at lot of fun, ive always wanted to go to Australia.

As for myself, I am 16 (will be in under 10 days), I am a sophomore in high school. I am a passionate participant in the Martial Arts of Taekwondoe, Krav Maga, and Grappling (8yrs of each), also i go to tournaments and have a summer job as an assistant instructor. I play the harmonica (even if i do still have some trouble tongue.gif ). Also, i am involved in track and field specifically polevaulting and discus. My other hobbies include WOT forums (i love them), the books as well, i read japanesse anime, and video games. I do love travel, especially so i can participate in those sports i cant normally do such as rock climbing, snow skiing, and scuba diving.

I really want to try sky diving but nowhere has it.

Wow, you guys live such interesting lives... I feel boring!

I'm 18, and I just started college at Alfred University this year. I'm going to be an Astrophysicist if it kills me, which it seems to be doing right now. I work at our telescopes during the day babysitting them while remote users play around. Not that the sun is ever out in Upstate New York!

Hmm... I love WOT and Vampires, Zombies are up there too, horror movies are fun to make fun of (my roomie and I can't watch them with anyone else because we annoy them too much!!) Me and my friends are mallrats, its depressing that there are no malls nearby the Uni! I really like to bike and rollerblade too, and a bit of swimming... I looooove music too. I can't really think of anything else, I feel like this is a personals add plotty.gif

Alchamy, quick question.

Bruce Campbell: God or B-Grade star?

Are you implying the two are mutually exclusive? happy.gif

Before I get told off for spamming it up here too -

I'm nearly 22 (God, so old sad.gif ) and living with the perfect Empress in Canberra, Australia. I'm finishing up my English major before I move on to Honours in Creative Writing. Yes, I got in (YAY!) despite my poor skills in that area on these sites.

I'm a Simpsons and film buff, work in two bookstores, (at least until I get fired from one) and have eclectic interests ranging from video games (mmmm.... Resident Evil-a-riffic) to ranting about my opinionated, un-informed views on politics, in which my cynicism knows now bounds. I like trivia too, and for many months was the Trivial Pursuit master in or household, although now the Empress kicks my arse regularly.

Oh, and I think I'm funny.

You acknowledge Bruce Campbell's greatness. I think that's enough of a statement for me to form my entire, positive, opinion of you.

happy.gif I feel really, really young and as Keane so apt said, a bit different... plotty.gif

Anyway, I'm fifteen and I'm (also) living in Sweden and Keane is absolutely overreacting, it might be cold where she lives but up here inte the north it's terribly cold, right now it's 20 degrees under freezing point, sometimes the temperature drops to -45 celcius, even your snot is freezing after one minute.
And Keane it's called the second year of the upper secondary school, I think tongue.gif (iaf gymnasium=upper secondary school) and I'm about to start that after the summer, with drama and teather as direction. After finishing it I'm planning to apply for some sort of drama university in england, when I've (hopefully wink.gif ) improved my knowledge in both english and acting.
I'm into loats of sports, karate, indoor bandy and jogging, just to mention a few and that takes most of my time. It has, unfortunately, affected and decreased the time I could spend writing, reading or doing my homework.
One of my major interest is travelling, and I have spent (a funny calculation I've made) about ten procent of my life living in our family caravan biggrin.gif And there's few countries in europe that we've not visited, like albania and ukraine, but one thing we had time to was a short stop in both africa and asia...we've not manage to visit australia yet, but I hope that we'll soon, that and new zeeland is one of the countries I've like to see next happy.gif

And I, too, love Trivial Pursuit, maybe bacause I win all the time, which has made that game quite unpopular here. laugh.gif

Oooh I'm special! I think I've reached the category of Almost Old like The Rest of Them...

I'm eighteen, I live in currently very snowy Pennsylvania (*pokes brother* I think my brother's here...) which for those of you abroad, is on the midatlantic seaboard but we're not on the ocean... plotty.gif I live in Mushroom Capital of the United States (we used to be Mushroom Capital of the World but some Japanese town makes more mushrooms than we do). And we're talking LEGAL shrooms here, though we do have a local drug problem. wacko.gif <=the druggies in my school.

I'm a senior in high school, and plan to go to either Allegheny College (really cold and wet) or Goucher College (really cold and wet) to get a degree in International Relations. I'm particularly interested in Africa and the Middle East. Refugee crisis and women's issues are especially inviting. I'm leaning towards a dual major, dual minor. Major in Int'l Relations (IR) and a language (Spanish or Arabic) and Minor in Middle Eastern or African studies and Women's Studies

I love writing on my own, lately particularly poetry though RPing to the extent that I do on AoG has renewed my interested in writing fantasy stories. *glances at bookcase which is stuffed with a notebook for every started, and thusly unfinished story*

I'm an avid horseback rider, I have my own horse (who's for sale) and I trained her myself, and I show her Novice and Training level eventing (gallop really fast over large, very scary, solid objects. It's insanely terrifying and exhilirating at the same time!).

I like to travel, ski, snowshoe, and ice skate but I don't do the latter very well at all. During the summer, my family hikes and kayaks. We have a house in Upstate NY on a lake so that's pretty cool.

I have two dogs (Chance and Molly), a cat (Mae), lots of fish, a rabbit (Dobby), and my horse (Beenie).

In the future, I'd like to work for the Peace Corp and eventually, an NGO or the State Department.

And my favorite quote is. "In a democracy, dissent is an act of faith. Like medicine, the test of its value is not in its taste but in its effects." -- J. W. Fulbright (a great outspoken man).

On a side note, for you AoGers who haven't figured out who I am, I'm Jaysin/Ciani/Naneem/Matovah...yes, as Jyasam put it, there's something wrong with my wiring, or else I'd be sane and only have two charas. But they're all so fun....*cough*

Hmmm, Sheva, my mother is involved with the refugee affairs groups here, trying to help asylum seekers not get sent back to die by the Aust. government.

ooooo.. an EGO thread! cool.gif (for all who cannot remember, 'tis Erilene from AoG)

I am 19, from Poughkeepsie, New York, a city that has one of the highest crime rates in the country. I go to Marist College (dinky, small, and beautiful right on the Hudson River) and am doing a double major in English and Spanish literature. Um ok cool stuff... I studied creative writing in Berlin for a month two summers ago and fell in love with the city. Right now I'm studying abroad in England and go to Oxord University (no I do not know why they let me- must have been a computing error plotty.gif). Next summer I hope to teach in Japan *fingers crossed*. I still have nine years more schooling until I get a Ph.D! Yay... *mock enthusiasm* Yes, I have no life beside school and RPing.

I tend to quote Shakespeare a lot and am brutally prejudiced against American writers plotty.gif I love reading dramas and have written a total of three horrendous plays, one of which was performed to my great horror. I know a bit of Old English, and am trying to learn Italian and Latin in my *cough* free time. I love art and maybe one day when I get something 'good' on my elfwood gallery, I'll post a link. I am a FF fanatic, and love RPGs, but don't have any time for them recently. Favorite game of all time is Leisure Suit Larry 4 plotty.gif And in about two weeks I will be in France for a five week Euro-trip (hint hint LoA plotty.gif).

Bruce Cambell is great, and death to anyone who says he isn't.

Sheva: All Hail the Peace Corps! wink.gif If I don't get into my preferred grad school, that's where I will be.

*laughs at the mention of LSL 4*

*snuggles Kalila before she goes off to France* Take me with you!
