Eryn is tall and slender, with long, curly brown hair and green eyes. She has a delicate appearace about her, and is rather pretty. She moves with an air of confidence, and rarely smiles except when especially pleased with the damane she is working with.

Personality:

Eryn is quite stubborn; if there's something she wants, or doesn't want, it is nearly impossible to get her to change her mind. She is ambitious and intelligent, though sometimes her stubborness keeps her from seeing the truth in an argument. She is not afraid to speak her mind, most of the time, which has gotten her into trouble before. She expects a lot from the damane she works with, and other sul'dam would describe her as very strict; but in truth, she is fond of damane, though she lets no one else know this. Eryn is kind at heart, though she rarely lets this side of her show.

Life History:

Eryn is the oldest of seven chilren born to a fairly wealthy family, and was often stuck taking care of her younger siblings. She developed an idea then of what a good child should behave like, and she resorted to any means necessary to ensure that her siblings would be good little children. They would never admit it to her, of course, but Eryn scared them sometimes.

At first, Eryn dreamed of becoming some form of animal trainer. She really wanted to become a morat'raken, but she would have settled for morat'torm, morat'grolm, or any other creature she could get her hands on. As a child, she would try to find small animals near her house and keep them as a sort of pet; she even tried to train a few to do various things. Her aunt, whom she greatly admired, was a morat'torm, and she gave Eryn the opportunity to work with some of the safer creatures on occasion.

Then came the day when the sul'dam tested her, and it was discovered that she could control damane. She had never really been interested in that type of job before, but when she learned she had the ability, she began to do a little research on sul'dam and damane. What interesting creatures, these damane were! They had such a vile ability, working with the One Power as they did, but they fascinated her nonetheless.

After a few more yearly testings, she became a sul'dam, and almost immediately began working with some damane. She developed her own training methods, which proved very effective with some damane and worthless with others, but she enjoyed the work. Now, at 21, she's been a sul'dam for three years, and has never once regretted not becoming the morat'raken she once dreamed of being.
