........900 bux....on a camara....why. I mean you inspired me to use photoshop more with my art. Never knew how much photoshop can turn something so simple lookin into a spectaculat scene. I'll just stick with my 30 dollar auto development camara. You realy put your heart into what you do, I think thats cool. Hey look, an active topic. Lets keep it up shall we.

Hah...yeah being a photographer is expensive. Equipment is ridiculous in price. An external flash will cost me 300 bucks. The next camera I want is 3,000 bucks. I mean I started from the bottom too. I had a copy of Paint Shop Pro that I downloaded off of Limewire (use BitLord if you want to get a program for free, its much more legal). I also had a Kodak Easyshare point and shoot camera. I did som art with it but I wanted something new, something far better than a simple 5mpx camera. Now I am blasting photos on 10.1mpx. I got recently starting using Photoshop, but if you download actions, photo editing can be done with the click of a button. You can find these actions all over the internet.

Being a photographer is great fun to me. I love doing photos of anything and everything. BTW...here is my deviantart account for more photos than what was on my portfolio.

BTW: my friend who was going to build me a MK site...well I told her to scrap that idea and I want a professional looking photography site. So I will be getting my own website soon! I cant wait. I already designed the layouts, so she just has to do her sh*t and BAM!

Wow, that expensive!? Hey, you know what, you could start your own busniess, you can make money taking personal photos. And mabey make your site a photography business site. DS Photography™ (Doug Shaw) Or just add your middle initial so it dosen't sound like you're refering to a Nintendo DS. You can bring home the benjamins My current passion is exotic cars. I wanna get in to the street racing game someday. But I dont think Im ready, and besides im only 2 years away from the legal age to get behind the wheele. Now im just using my art skills drawing cars and scanning them on photoshop, trying to make it look professional. Im working on vinyal designs now. I take pictures of hot cars, then I just add it to my album. BTW, you got any car pictures?

Dude there is a huge industry alone for auto body graphics. If that is your passion then chase it. My website is going to be a business site. Until I start classes on photography this summer I wont be doing weddings and such. I will just be selling my art photography. Then I will later update it to have my onsite photography information. However, since that is the money maker right there I need to take a few photo classes and learn new techniques.

Dont mess with street racing...I mean its fine if you trick out a ride and bring it to those street shows, but dont race your sh*t, its too dangerous and stupid. I used to street race a bit back when I drove my Chevy Chevelle, but if you crash its over for your car and possibly even you. Plus tickets are a bitch. Build a ride for show and enter it into the SEMA show or NOPI. Make the money and meet the women there. Leave the racing for the video games.

You know...about the car pictures...I do in fact have a photo of my current car that I edited in Paint Shop Pro...its an '06 Mazda 6.

S**t man, that pic is nice. I know I cant street race, im leaving the street racing for NFS:C on my 360. But I can go to one of those drift tracks that they have now-a-days. Y'know the ones the celebs go to so they can drift a lil. That isn't illegal is it?

What got you into photography? Whats your insperation. A movie? a book? a powem, someone? Fast and the furious tokyo drift got me into exotic cars.

I have always liked photography ever since I knew what a camera was. In high school I experimented with different types. I had like three cameras that were just cheap pieces of sh*t. Then 2 years ago for Xmas I got my first real point and shoot. Then recently I decided one day to give it a go after I lost interest in writing and drawing. Ever since it has been like a drug addiction to me. I cant stop taking photos. I found something I finally am serious about. Writing and drawing I was never "truely serious" about.

Mainly in photojournalism, Im not the kind of photographer to do shots for a newspaper. I want to work by myself, for myself. I'll do weddings and special events to pay the bills and do the artistic photography for the pleasure and for side money. I update my DeviantArt account almost every day with new photos. You should check it out...maybe you will get some inspiration of some sort.
