Has anyone got this yet? It doesn't come out in Australia until the 11th, but I have all the money I need to get it! The whole thing has already been spoiled for me (I just can't help myself *sigh*). Plus, because I pre-ordered, I get this neat Zelda Tin which really does not appeal to me at all. It bothered me more when I heard that the American Toys'r'us are giving away the guide free when you buy the game! I felt cheap until I read people were complaining at the possibility it would cost $40 USD. We pay $70 AUD for EVERY DS game, which means if you lived here, you would pay $62.90 USD for every DS game! Sometimes I hate Australia!

On topic ( cool.gif ) what do people think of the game?

I got it yesterday, it's a REALLY well made game. A bit quick, but VERY good, I love it!

Is anyone on these boards actually interested in the Zelda series? This game is the best DS game out to date, honestly! All of you go out and pick it up right now! angry.gif

...you don't know what The Orange Box is?! ohmy.gif

Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, AND Team Fortress 2, all for $50 (best deal of all time for video games IMO).

'Nuff said, I think.

I plan on getting PH. I just don't have the time at the moment, being involved in too many activities for one October. I've heard it's good, though, so I don't plan on skipping it.

What the heck are "Half-Life 2: Episode 1" and "Half-Life 2 Episode 2"? Just Half-Life 2 split into halves, or is it a different game altogether? Like Metroid Prime: Hunters, just a little side-story thingie?

A big expansion pack. It's new parts of the story. Contains spoilers, especially for Ep2.

Eg. Gordon tries to destroy Citadel
Ep1 Gordon and Alyx is trying to get out of Citadel's range before it blows up
Ep2 Gordon and Alyx are trying to get to White Forest, to launch a missile to stop the Combine's Super Portal.
Ep3 Gordon and Alyx are going to look for the Borealis to destroy (or use?) the weapon Aperature Science made (aka The Portal Weapon) before the Combine

Half-life bothered me, I didn't really enjoy it. Don't hate me for it though =[. If I was to nitpick at PH, I could only say that the dungeons are little on the short side, and the game lacks difficulty. The sailing is alot better than in WW though, because the ocean map is smaller, (maybe about 1/8 the size of WW, which believe me, it's a GOOD THING), and there are many more enemies while out in the water. Also, once you all beat it, there are many discussions to be had about many of the characters, and the way they are incorporated into the entire "Legend of Zelda" storyline, as well as races that may have seemed extinct in wind-waker, and look-a-like characters!

I'll be buying this. I've heard MANY good things about it so far. Also, my friends say good things about it. I thought it would be the worst Zelda game ever when it was just announced and was just coming out in Japan. I thought that the controls looked a bit on the confusing side. But I did like the Wind Waker style of graphics. But to me, graphics aren't what make a game, a good story is.

I got this game over the weekend. Too bad I've only had 30 minutes total to play it so far. biggrin.gif

What I've played has been fun, though.
