FSMR is a remake of the original Super Metroid with zero mission graphics, physics, and speeds and it is almost as old as AM2R. now, I am NOT the person whom started the game, but I am basically second in command, being the first member to join in on the project beside the founder and given the title "Official Spriter," the project has gone through a lot I guess you can say. Here is a link to my deviant, showing some mock-ups, sprites, and actual in-game scenes:

http://z13.invisionfree.com/FSMR/index.phpFSMR is a BIG project, almost as big as AM2R and MSR388 but it is not widely known because we have lacked to show it to the world ^^;
anyways, FSMR is so good, on the Metroid Fan Mission forums it has over 1,000 replies, the most on the board and the most number of views, the topic is still being posted in today and it was a topic from last year (around summer time.) FSMR has gone through a big change though... a couple weeks ago, we got a programmer named AlexR who asked to see the engine, he said it was super messy and might need to be redone so thats exactly where we are. about a year ago, Octohunter, the founder, had an engine that had almost everything implanted so now... we are redoing it but at a rapid pace. samus and all her weapons are done except for the excess moves like X-ray scope, crystal flash, etc... and we show no signs of slowing down, I think FSMR is doing really good. sorry for making a dumb story, but it's true and I am tired anyways =P hope anyone enjoys it =D
