Title: Favorite Metroid Game
Description: Which legendary adventure is your fav?

Dark Samus - February 18, 2005 03:29 AM (GMT)
Mine definitely had to be Metroid Prime. The atmosphere, the music, the gameplay was all perfect in my opinion. No to mention the fact that along with all the classic upgrades we got brand new upgrades, which put even more points for Prime in my book.

PrimevalDarkness - February 18, 2005 12:36 PM (GMT)
Definitely metroid prime. Prime2 had way too many of the same enemies and was somewhat uninspired. The whole atmosphere of prime was just awesome.

Troid92 - February 18, 2005 10:19 PM (GMT)
I think Prime and Super Metroid are tied at first... Super Metroid is the best 2-D game.

Chagi - February 19, 2005 12:29 PM (GMT)
Metroid Prime 4-ever

Troid92 - February 19, 2005 07:33 PM (GMT)
Why don't you go introduce yourself here, chagi... Anyways, welcome to the Metroid: Net Mission forums!

Xenic Engine - February 21, 2005 05:02 PM (GMT)
I loved prime and all, but I think the game that made my spine tingle was the platform Metroid Fusion. I loved it like a fat kid loves his doughnuts! ... lol.

PrimevalDarkness - February 21, 2005 05:04 PM (GMT)
lol, im assuming your not fat?

Xenic Engine - February 21, 2005 05:12 PM (GMT)
*craks up* lol, no, not quite ... I run track so its not like I could be. I have nothing against fat people, its just a metaphore .. lol *cant stop laughing* that was just funny the way you worded it.

Samus Aran - February 21, 2005 11:36 PM (GMT)
ugh, so hard to choose! uh, metroid? no. fusion? mabye not. metroid prime? no. that might be second though. AH HA! thats it. Metroid Prime 2 echoes! i love it! but i'm stuck as of now. :(

PrimevalDarkness - February 22, 2005 12:23 AM (GMT)
Yeah, it was between echoes and prime for me as well. I would have to still say prime though because it was the first time I had played something like that. Echoes seemed almost like the same game. It was good, but prime was definitely better.

Menoknow88 - February 23, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
Metroid Zero Mission and MP1 are teh beztorz

Seriously, it is I love those two games...

What? But oh well, MP1 and MZM are teh bezt ^^

Warwasp - February 27, 2005 03:36 AM (GMT)
I hate to say this, but I have only played 3 Metroid games, and up until November of last year, didn't own 1. Now I own 2. I own Metroid Prime (Probobly considered along with The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker as the best GC games out) and Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. My pick goes to Prime aswell

Menoknow88 - February 27, 2005 03:46 AM (GMT)
Yes, prime was a good game, and Hunters was awesome. I love the fact that it is going to be a good multiplayer game on the DS in the sense that there will be a point to wi-fi.

Prime has the advantage music wise tho hehe.

Warwasp - February 27, 2005 03:52 AM (GMT)
It's off topic, I know, but why was everyone down on TLZ:TWW when, in my oppinion, is far better then Halo? I like Halo virtually because multiplayer and the storyline, but really, whats the fun of just running in a room and shooting everything? Thats why I prefer Metroid Prime to Halo, because Prime, you still get shooting, but there is some stuff that makes it harder then "Shoot everthings head off".

Menoknow88 - February 27, 2005 04:05 AM (GMT)
You see, the reason I like Halo 2 better than Metroid : Prime is the fact that I am good at Halo 2, I kick my friends asses, except for like 4 or 5 of them, and there is a point to playing it more, otherwise the fact that you show it off and people will appreciate the fact that you get a headshot with the sniper every time.

Prime beats the you know what outta Halo 2 in the single player version, then again that is kind of obvious

On a side note... OH YEA #3 IN TOP 10 POSTERS.... eat that Troid.... lol j/k

Troid92 - February 28, 2005 12:10 AM (GMT)
I don't really care. Go ahead and post more than me. :)

Menoknow88 - February 28, 2005 01:40 AM (GMT)
Lol, I kinda figured, I just wanted to point it out ^^;

And thx for not bein mad lol

BTW note: this is my legendary 69th post!

ridley4 - March 10, 2005 12:54 AM (GMT)
OH MY GOD MY MIND BURNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
...

DarkJeroyd2000 - March 14, 2005 08:19 PM (GMT)
Sorry Dark Samus. I didn't see the other post about the favorite Metroid Games. I'll pay more attention next time. ;)

slayer_be - March 16, 2005 12:48 PM (GMT)
it was hard to choose between super metroid en metroid prime. those 2 games were the only two games i replayed for a few 10 times :)

1-Metroid-2 - March 17, 2005 08:45 PM (GMT)
i say super metroid i love the genre platform but nothing can beat the good old super mario bros. and did you know its 20th anniversary 20 years ago mario started

DarkJeroyd2000 - March 26, 2005 03:22 PM (GMT)
I love mario games too, but I think Metroid Games are just as good too. :)

1-Metroid-2 - March 26, 2005 08:28 PM (GMT)
yeah metroid is just as good as mario games i know theres many who don't like super mario sunshine but it is not that bad anyway i like sunshine one thing thats annoying on metroid prime is to find those freaking chozo artifact and do this sounds weird? but i like metroid prime 2 echoes more then metroid prime but anyway my favorite is super metroid

kraid_is_da_bomb - April 9, 2005 01:40 PM (GMT)
Well, Id have to say, as I do own all Metroid Games (other than Prime and Prime 2 Echoes, but I have beaten them both) My favourite still stands out; I absoloutly love Super Metroid! I could play it for a month non-stop, but my stupid body needs rest, food, drink and excercise. Come on people, old-school rules! I hope to god that not one person says that they don't like super metroid. Aslong as you don't hate it, i'm happy!  :D

Aura - April 9, 2005 04:02 PM (GMT)
Gee...I wonder what I'm going to pick...*eyes Super Metroid*...:P

I love Super Metroid. I think it'll always remain one of my favorite Metroid games of all time. It's the only Metroid I've actually come back to from time to time and beaten it all the way through (I usually get bored after a while with the otheres because I've beaten them before). There always seems to be something new to discover in Super Metroid, and the story just kicks ass.

kraid_is_da_bomb - April 10, 2005 03:51 AM (GMT)
Yay, now super metroid and Metroid Prime are in a draw! Whos gonna get more votes? I'm confused...

Menoknow88 - April 15, 2005 06:01 PM (GMT)
Prime will win. Or at least I hope so.

Aura - April 15, 2005 06:36 PM (GMT)
Super and Prime will most likely tie. Seeing how they're the two most popular Metroid games.

Menoknow88 - April 15, 2005 08:45 PM (GMT)
Yea, Super was awesome, It's just I am comparing it to Prime and of course I believe Prime wins. Either way they are both great games and I feel that they were both huge landmarks in the series. Every time I play Prime I feel like I am going back to a very cool time and place, infact, its almost like doing drugs....... Just kidding, I've never done drugs, but yea and I don't actually own Super, I just have an emulater and a ROM. BTW 200 POSTS!!!!

Dead_Moon - April 16, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
I have to say the first metroid, for the sake that it was the first one that i played, and idk, prime is a pretty close second though. I think primes gameplay is really nice but im a big fan of side-scrollers.

JDE - May 17, 2005 01:49 PM (GMT)
I think that Echoes is the best Metroid Game so far, excluding Super and 2:ROS because I have never got to play them. As soon as I can go to GameXChange again, I'm buying Super. I have gone long enough without Playing Super. There are laws against not playing it, I hear. hahahaha

kraid_is_da_bomb - May 18, 2005 09:25 AM (GMT)
Wow, not one vote for Metroid Fusion. That would have been my second preference. I think Prime and Prime 2 went too far off track of the story.

Darkblade Shinobi - May 28, 2005 06:56 PM (GMT)
I've beaten MP2 on hard mode with 100% scans and items.
Then I play Prime, and in five minutes, I like it better.

PrimevalDarkness - May 29, 2005 12:51 AM (GMT)
! Fusion went way further out of the loop then the primes did. Fusion was way more radical.

Darkblade Shinobi - May 29, 2005 04:38 PM (GMT)
Fusion was really linear, but then again, so was Echoes, but people still like it.

Menoknow88 - June 17, 2005 09:04 PM (GMT)
Metroid Net Mission is the best in my opinion, I just like its story and the boss fights in it. It kicks ass, and I love the little floating blobs. I like it more than Metroid Prime or MP2.

Edit: Oops, I meant Metroid Fusion... sorry... sleepy... and maybe drunk...

kraid_is_da_bomb - June 18, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
yes, I think fusion had the best story as well. What I didnt like about it was the damn computer telling you to do everything. Bounty Hunters do not get told what to do!

Darkblade Shinobi - June 18, 2005 01:28 AM (GMT)
:coughumoscough:

kraid_is_da_bomb - June 18, 2005 01:37 AM (GMT)
what does umos mean? I am confused  , Why did you cough??

PrimevalDarkness - June 18, 2005 02:59 PM (GMT)
Because Umos from Metroid Prime 2 Echoes told samus what to do. He was pretty much invincible though, he probably could have taken Samus.
